previous visits had set my expectations high. previous service was really good, but not this time.
Server was inattentive to us and they were not busy. It appeared to me that the staff was more interested in the World Cup Soccer Game then the customers. It was at the end of Happy Hour but we were not there for drinks.
We ordered our food and 30 minutes later we were still waiting. The table next to us got their food and sent it back as it was too spicy, we think that they got ours. 10 minutes after that our server brought two of the four dishes ordered and claimed “I don’t know what happened to your Fajita Bowls”. The food that he had in his hands looked like it had been sitting under the food warmers for a while, the mini-sliders looked like they had been over-cooked.
Additionally, a table that sat down 10 minutes after we ordered, go their food before our server brought our partial order to our table.
We did speak to a manager and left without eating. I will not go back there again, nor will I ever recommend this establishment to anyone.

My husband had a Margarita and it was good. However, the rest stunk.
I ordered chicken enchiladas. At first I was going to tell the waiter I didn’t order vegetarian, but then I found a couple of pieces of chicken. It tasted really bad. The rice was so so.
My husband had the fish and chips. We ate them, but they weren’t that good.
The service wasn’t very good either. However, when you are served your food and have to ask for the silverware, that is a red flag right there.
Won’t be back.

I’ve been there twice and will never go back. I love burgers and unfortunately this location sucks. The first time I went with my wife and parents. The service was incredibly slow and the food was not that good. The burger was very, very salty.
The second time we went, sat down and after 10 minutes left. No one came by to take our order. Several waiters/waitresses passed by but no one helped us. I couldn’t believe how poor the service was.

Terrible. This is the second and last time I will visit this restaurant. Both visits I made were at the Village west parkway location in KC and both times the service was AWFUL! We ordered ahead because we only have one hour to drive over eat and get back to work and wanted to dine in to eat. When we got there we sat down and the server brought us our food in all to-go containers even though I was very clear when I called that we were going to be eating there and did not want to make a to-go order. On top of that our server was nowhere to be found and only stopped at our table once after we got our food then walked away before I could ask for more water (which she should have figured out herself!). The food was wrong and when I mentioned that I didn’t want onions on my sandwich, the server told me that’s how they came and made no attempt at resolving my issue or helping make it better. Maybe I’m being too picky but I expected to be able to eat on actual plates and to have my order made right but that is just not how they do things. Will never go back.

Service was horrible. By that I mean absolutely pathetic. Our server did not know anything about the menu… sad. The server had no training, and it was like watching a train wreck. Luckily, my Lady and I were not on a schedule. This place was kind of a joke. The food was cooked well, I cannot knock the cooks. Maybe they should promote the Kitchen Manager.

Our food took more than 30 minutes – not really an issue if it was busy .. but it was not..
lots of serving staff milling around… but not much seemed to be focused towards the customers..
The server (Stephanie) (when asked why the food was taking so long) told me the time it was ordered … I pointed out that this was more than 30 mins (just two burgers and fries …nothing complicated…) – she didn’t apologize or say she would check … she commented that the kitchen was probably running slow…
Amazingly enough .. the food arrived about 2 mins later — probably sitting under a hotlamp in the back while she was ‘busy’ doing something else…
in addition there were small irritations such as no offer of filling up water/drinks … no effort to check if everything was ok … very low standards compared to other restaurants in the area… even the small Mom&Pop outfits far outshone this place.
… probably wont bother going back … ever …

Definitely not paradise. The food took forever to get and it was cold when it was served. I would give it a 1.5 but thats not an option. If your going to pay $10+ for a hamburger there are better places to go than this.

Try to go here every Spring Break; the food’s pretty good and the atmosphere’s good too. I recommend the Bacon Cheddar burger, fries, and root beer.
