Dining with a family of 6 can be challenging, but the staff made everything smooth and enjoyable. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our daughter’s Graduation from CMU. We’ll definitely be back

Ordered the fish and chips and there were four pieces about 3″ long and 1/2″ wide. Not what I expected for a fish dinner. Looked like a kids meal. We got our three bills for the six of us and they did a large gratuidity of 20%. They said because our table total was over $200 they did a large gratuidity on all the bills. The restaurant could use a good cleaning. The bathroom was not pleasant! I ordered the Ruben the meat was tuff. Our server never refilled my water glass but she did ask if I wanted more water when she brought the bill when we were waiting to leave.

If I can rate this place a 0/5 I would. Stuff you can improve is letting people know for a party of six it is guaranteed you will have a 20% tip included on the bill, even when the service is shitty you cannot change it. Food was mid, I’m from California where everything is super expensive and I payed more money at this restaurant than any restaurant in California. Took forever to get a reheated soup. Didn’t even get a refill until someone mentioned it. Place wasn’t even busy for them to be taking that long. Someone ordered fish and ship, fish was the size of a golf fish. Very expensive don’t recommend, spend $96 for 2 people. Not even in California would u spend that much. Don’t recommend if you have a large party.

This place already has a great name! The bar in the middle adds to the name and seems to be a local hangout, which is super cool. There are seating areas to either side of the bar and we sat in the smaller section. The staff was friendly and I dare say fun. They were interactive and actually liked to have conversations without being too intrusive.
The food was good. The Ahi Tuna was good and the salad had a great flavor to it. The tuna had just the right amount of flavor. I have had better but it’s been a while since I had this plate, so I was happy to eat it. The Reuben was tasty and the meat was tender with good flavoring. Their was not a lot of meat but almost the right amount as sometimes you can have too much and it overpowers everything. The French dip was good and will be someone’s return plate. The fajita wrap was flavorful but not a fan favorite. I didn’t eat it so I am limited on how much detail I can really give. Oh, they have something called the Texas Twinkie which is basically a cream cheese filled jalapeño wrapped in bacon. We didn’t get an opportunity to try it as it was all sold out, but it will be on the “to do” next time!
I almost want to give the place 5 stars as the staff definitely made the place shine but there were a few blemishes to the visit. The main one was the table we were sat at had a lot of crackers broken underneath as if a child was fed there. The staff was definitely busy and not lingering but the cleanliness of the floors did tarnish the place getting 5 stars. I don’t want to sound like the place was a dive. It is actually pretty nice. The food was good and would be a definite “do again” place.

It was a very cute place. I could see a lot of potential. But we stood there waiting to be seated or even acknowledged for quit a while. Then we got seated and placed our order. It finally came out and another girl brought it to us. Our waitress never returned to see if everything was ok. At all. Another girl finally brought our bill when they realized I was looking all over wondering when our waitress would return. The girl apologized that our waitress got busy with another large group but why did she not ask for help a lot sooner???? We were never asked if we wanted desert or more drinks…. And when I got the bill for 2 dinners. 2 soups and 2 teas I was glad I didn’t order more. Very high prices with horrible service the whole time.
We just had the same basic meal at another restaurant but left full, happy and had amazing service for $42 and tipped $20… they charged $65 and we only tipped $5 because I was so disappointed in the whole thing.

It’s an all-around wonderful place to visit and I would highly recommend. The salad bar has lots of different toppings and there is a different soup all the time. Alayna was a fabulous bartender/waitress / bus person. She was constantly working. Very impressed with her work ethic.

Chicken cordon bleu was delicious, the sauce on it was incredible. Burger and fries were pretty good. Dessert is a must! The hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was super sweet and delicious, it found the cavity in my tooth! A bit pricey, but so is everything in the area.
