Nice and clean restaurant but food is pretty mediocre in terms of taste and authenticity.
HK Milktea 3.5/5 – not bad but nothing outstanding either. You can find something of similar quality in an Asian market juice box.
Shrimp omelette rice with “tomato sauce” 3/5 – the shrimp omelette itself is quite alright in terms of flavor and texture but the advertised tomato sauce was basically ketchup which spells a basic lack of effort. The kitchen could have done a much better job on that tomato sauce mixing a little of ketchup with actual cooked and sliced tomatoes. Just putting ketchup underneath the omelette is plain lazy.
Beef noodles 3/5 – the soup was good but the noodles and beef was pretty ordinary in terms of flavor and texture.
String beans 1/5 – last dish to be served on our table and the most disappointing. Just by the looks of it from the photo, you can tell it is not appealing at all. No prep work done on cutting the rough edges of it and not much flavor on the dish. Try the same dish in Din Tai Fung and you can tell the difference.
Overall, the restaurant has a nice ambience but the food was very mediocre. Definitely could be better if not for a lack of trying on the kitchen’s part.

The two waitresses were soooo sweet, welcoming, and attentive. The food was delicious! We loved the big portions so we can enjoy leftovers. Highly recommend!

Saw this place from a social media post and was excited for it. Our whole table was disappointed. We tried the fish balls, green beans, dumplings, duck and a few other things. The fish balls and dumplings were kinda hard and not hot. Green bean tasted kind of stale. We ordered the duck cause my mom loves it and there was barely any meat. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Whoever did the review on IG also needs to have their taste buds checked lol.

Lychee old fashioned was nice but would have preferred a different whiskey.

A friend mentioned they were having their soft opening and made a reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly. Menus were placed on the table and water was offered.
The first great thing was that we were not rushed and given sufficient time to peruse the menu. We settled on our choices and the server was friendly and fast. The noodles arrived first, followed by the dumplings and the lemon fried wings. They all arrive at a nice pace and all cooked to perfection. The noodles were soft with the right amount of seasonings and meat. The dumplings were sublime and served at a temperature that made them easy to enjoy. The desserts had the right amount of sweetness and tasted fresh. All in all a perfect meal. If I didn’t know this was their soft opening, I would have never guessed as all was to our satisfaction. The only constructive criticism would be to make sure the banana cream baos have the same amount of cream. The pricing was perfect as well. Another place to add to my rotation of reliable restaurants. I can’t wait to return.

Conflicted about this review. The food was affordable but varied greatly in flavor and quality; however, the servers were well attentive and the restaurant was clean.
I thoroughly enjoyed the dim sum and the spring rolls. The dill dumplings, on the other hand, left something to be desired. The dumpling was dry and overcooked. And, the tam tam noodles were far too sweet — tasted like you dumped peanut butter into noodles

Great place to get Hong Kong food! Everything was flavorful, not too salty or oily, and lots of unique foods you can’t get else where! My favorite was the black bean fish! I’d come back!

Waitstaff friendly but untrained.
Food was like the LaCroix version of Chinese food, nothing was seasoned or executed properly.
Atmosphere: 1)they tried to evoke HK with neon sign wallpaper but repeated the same 3 signs over and over 2) Played elevator/jazz music instead of HK pop 3) Forks ONLY on the table. I had to ask for chopsticks. Should tell you everything you need to know about this place.

Made a reservation and when I showed up the server didn’t ask me about it, and seated us at a two top. Orders are placed by marking on a paper menu, and I had to ask the server to come back to confirm my selections instead of walking off. I ordered a lot of food and wouldn’t be annoyed if they didn’t keep seating other parties of 2 at larger tables, and they never came by to clear any of our empty/dirty dishes.
When I settled the check I had to ask for boxes, and then wait to ask another server to bring a bag for the boxes. When they brought the bag for the food they said they’d also settle the bill and tried to make me pay again.
Was really disappointed because Dumpling the Noodle is by the same owners and I really enjoy that location.
What we ordered:
Baked porkchop rice with curry sauce – My favorite dish of the night, though I think they were too heavy handed with the cheese. Pork katsu was moist, rice underneath was ‘fried’ and seasoned.
Banana bun (not pictured) – The second and last thing that I actually enjoyed. Texture was soft. Could use some more banana and be a little sweeter.
Beef chow fun – No wok hei (char), noodles too thin and short, no seasoning or flavor
Salt and pepper squid – No salt or pepper flavor, over fried, no seasoning
Sweet and sour pork – Not what i was expecting, but not horrible except for the price.
Spicy oil wontons – No flavor in the wontons nor in the chili oil
Shrimp and “slippery” egg rice – If you know this dish the eggs are supposed to be runny, but this version the egg was way overcooked.
