Cheeky’s is definitely an experience—the kind that makes you say, “Wow, I’m really glad I left my house for this.”

A friend hit me up for happy hour on a Saturday night, and shockingly, I was home from work early enough to actually make it happen. Even more shocking? We chose Cheeky’s, and I couldn’t have been happier. The last time I was here was back when it was Casey’s and Cheeky’s was just launching, so I was excited to see how it had evolved.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was giving elegant, cozy, and intimate. Soft lighting, relaxed energy—basically the kind of place that gently tells you to sit down, sip a cocktail, and forget about your responsibilities. My friends had already ordered and kindly let us sample their food. I can’t remember exactly what it was (possibly drunken noodles? Possibly magic?), but whatever it was, it was delicious.

Since we didn’t want to copy their order, my boyfriend and I went with the duck fries, duck wings, and crispy beef with rice. Let me start with the fries because…wow. Skinny fries tossed in garlic, what tasted like truffle, and cooked in duck fat. Honestly? Some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time. I would come back just for those.

My boyfriend loved the duck wings, which were generously coated in some type of mumbo sauce. A little too saucy for me (I prefer my wings slightly less…bathed), but the flavor was solid and the portion was more than fair. My crispy beef was everything—perfect crunch, just the right amount of sauce, and packed with flavor. A true masterpiece that really showcased Asian-inspired cuisine at its best.

I also ordered the hibiscus lemon drop, which was so good I considered ordering a second (and did). That said, it was a bit overpriced for the size—but still tasty enough to make me forgive it.

Overall, Cheeky’s is super chic, serves delicious cocktails, and delivers flavorful, creative food. If you’re looking for a food adventure or something a little out of the norm, I 100% recommend stopping by for an evening.

My only complaint? I still dream about the pork katsu sandwich they had back in the Casey’s days—served with homemade wonton chips. I think about that sandwich more often than I’d like to admit. Please…bring it back.

Came in on a solo date, sat at the bar – waited 2-3 mins to be sat. Immediately was spoken to by bartender and offered water. Happy hour is 4PM-6PM. Tried the Hentai martini (9/10, pleasant) and also the espresso happy hour ($6, 9.5/10 – a little too much froth/foam). Brussels sprouts 10/10, so good and crispy, savory. The fried rice was different, a little sweet 8/10. Had a crunch topping may throw texture folks off. Great vibes and atmosphere !

The Ambiance hit you as soon as you walk into this establishment. With the holidays here and near and dear to our hearts the decorations were out of this world beautiful. Is my group we ordered share the shareable plates in my opinion all plates were a 10 out of 10. The holiday drink menu also whomever came up with the drink names for the holiday menu deserves a bonus. I highly recommend the sugar cookie also coquito. For dessert you must try the tres leche delicious sweet. Service was amazing thank you all who helped with our table and Speedy service the vibe is just there I encourage you if you are in the Fredericksburg area even if you’re not in front of a girl you come down and check out Cheekys, you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re looking for a stylish, welcoming spot in downtown Fredericksburg, Cheekys at 622 Kenmore Ave is a must-visit.

The vibe is effortlessly cool—perfect for catching up with friends, celebrating something special, or planning a fun Valentine’s date night. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance between cozy and lively, making it easy to relax and stay awhile.

Their drink menu truly shines. The cocktails are creative, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully crafted with unique flavor combinations that feel both elevated and approachable. If you’re not drinking, their mocktails are just as impressive—refreshing, balanced, and far from an afterthought. It’s clear they put real intention into every glass.

Whether you’re meeting the girls for a night out or enjoying a romantic evening with your Valentine, Cheekys delivers on ambiance, quality, and experience. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in Fredericksburg.

Highly recommend! ✨

From its alluring speak easy appearance to its unforgettable drinks and tonkatsu. This place has made the dramatic change from Casey’s to Cheeky’s. A metamorphosis in every aspect. The drinks were out of this world—colorful, tasty and delicious. Hats off to the chef, the food was well seasoned and prepared. 10 out of 10.

The vibe was great but on a Saturday night they had no hostess, one waitress for the entire place, one bartender and one person running drinks from the bar who appeared to be very confused (maybe new). Took 45 minutes to get one drink and a glass of juice. Service was not good although they were nice they need to figure it out. Didn’t order food but it appeared good and others said it was good. Will give it another try at some point but overall frustrating and not a great experience.

Great coctail style bar. No TV; limited but intimate seating. No standing at the bar. Great place for drinks and Great conversation. Table and couch seating. Rachael is fantastic. She opened the closed off section for us to enjoy a more intimate conversation. It was so comfortable we spent 4 hours talking, drinking, and snacking on the finger food. It is out new go to place.
