I seriously enjoy this place, as a returning customer, though I hadn’t gone in at least a year unfortunately. Any who… hubbie and I met for the lunch specials the other day. We both started off with a Painkiller drink, which was beyond delicious! I had the fish & chips lunch special, and hubs got a cheese burger with fries AND a pot pie. Everything was super yummy and service was excellent! (Here in Burque, the lunch specials are Monday through Friday from 11am-2pm and only like 10 bucks each BTW). Our server was great as well; he was super attentive, on top of everything, and just a little cutie patootie all the way around!

We came here October 12th for lunch.
It started off very very bad but eventually skyrocketed to a great experience.
Upon arrival, the place was only about half full. The hostess walked us all over, past countless empty tables and sat us way in the back of the restaurant. The booth she sat us in, the seat was slashed wide open and the area smelled like someone urinated all over.
With the numerous empty booths we walked by, why were we seated at a badly damaged booth that also smelled like urine?!?!
After a few minutes of being disgusted, I walked back up to the hostess, explained the nasty issues and asked to be seated anywhere else. She walked back there with me to have us seated elsewhere, but by then the waitress, Dee B, sat us at another table.
The hostess apologized and said the manager knew about the damaged seat and had another one on order. Still, why wasn’t that table ropped off? Nobody should have been seated there.
From there is where the rocket took off to excellence! Our waitress, Dee B, went above and beyond expectations! She was very very friendly and helpful and attentive! She deserves 10 stars! Because of her, we will definitely come back and of course, ask for her to be our waitress!
Regarding the food, it was very good and reasonably priced.

Great service and delicious food! Great for family gatherings. The ribeye steak was juicy and the side options were very good. The ribs are tender and flavored to perfection. Highly recommend both options!

I ordered the Half rack rib/chicken tender meal, I upgraded to the cheese n bacon fries with the loaded baked potatoe. The servers are kind and fast. I was really disappointed with the food, my ribs came out cold and really dry and tough to eat, the chicken tenders had to be re-ordered because the ones on my plate came not warm or room temp they were freezing to the touch. I came to “Cheddars Scratch Kitchen” for a nice meal but everything here seemed to be warmed up from a box. I feel sick after trying to eat the food served from here.

Cheddar’s is good. I wasn’t blown away by anything, but it’s just a good overall experience. Don’t expect the cajun pasta to have any sort of kick. It’s tasty, just no spice. The garlic bread it came seemed a bit stale and old, especially in the center. If I go back I’ll get something else – maybe the grilled salmon (bourbon glazed) that my partner got. It was a lot lighter and had a really good sauce to go with the dish.

We aren’t itching to go back, but wouldn’t complain if we ended up there again.

We arrived to a busy parking lot but our wait wasn’t long. Our waitress was at times friendly and other times not so. They were very busy and I would say that had something to do with it. She kept our drinks full which was great. Took some time for our food to get to us. We ordered 2 appetizers and only got one. I asked about the other one and it seemed as it annoyed her that I asked. She came out and said it would be out shortly. It came out right before our meal did. The food itself was great. Before leaving our waitress came by again and offered to go boxes and drinks. This was the friendliest she had been the whole time we were there.

So I’m kinda torn. This location started out well, but then there were a few times in a row they dropped the ball. So I didn’t go in for a while, and then I went there a couple times this past weekend and they were great, but I can’t tell if that was just because I didn’t eat in so I only dealt with a couple of people. So service seems to be hit or miss.

The atmosphere is pretty good. I like that the conversations around you meld into a blended background noise, and I think this has to do with the construction, which every location has the same. The tall booth seat backs are very appreciated for providing some level of privacy while in public.

The only food I’ve known to be hit or miss from here are the ribs, I noticed when I went with a friend a couple times a while back that once they removed the membrane so they were tender, the other time they left it on so they were tough. That’s really my only gripe though, the food otherwise has always been delicious.

This restaurant was good. The waitress was very good and attentive. The salad was great and the croissants fantastic. The monte cristo, however, wasn’t that great. Both me and my brother felt like the oil it was cooked in hurt our stomachs. Overall, not a bad place I just might try something else if I were to go back.
