I had the same thing at a different Cheddar’s a couple weeks before eating at this one. Let me tell you it is night and day. Our waitress was friendly and did what she could on her end. The good was good over all. I don’t know what kind of training goes on with food preparation. I know I thought I got fish bites when they were suppose to be 3 fish strips. Heck I got fish squares and a triangle. I didn’t know what to think and then I didn’t get my fries as well. The cook found out that my food was not right so she came out to see what she could do about it. She did say by the looks of the food they did not do it right. She offered to personally redo my meal the correct way. I told her no thank you I don’t want the rest of my family to have to sit and way for me to finish eating. Then she said we will take the meal off of your bill. I thanked her and appreciate it her coming out there to fix the issues. Never saw the manager…I don’t think they were even there. Basically they made it right and that was the only reason I gave it a 3 and not a 2. I personally watch and look at everything. This lady went above what she needed to do to fix the situation and did not have to. Need more people like her and the waitress.

While traveling through Paducah, KY we stopped at Cheddar’s for dinner. We had a party of 12 and were able to be seated right away. Our first impressions of the restaurant were that the aquarium was well kept and the place we were seated wasn’t well lit. My son loved the aquarium, it was bright, clean, and the fish were healthy. The host was friendly and attentive.
Our waiter was quick to greet us. He was friendly and attentive to our needs. He had our drinks right away. He checked on us often and refilled our coffee often. The waiter also got our order right.
The waiter brought us Honey Butter Croissants. We’ve never had them, they were good. They were the perfect blend of salt and sweet. We ordered two of the Wisconsin Cheese Bites. They were ok, the cheese wasn’t melted.
My mom ordered the New Orleans Pasta. She said it was delicious and it wasn’t very spicy. My youngest son had the kids chicken tenders. He was too excited to eat.
I ordered the Monte Cristo. With bacon cheese fries. My dinner was very good. I have never had a deep fried sandwich, it was comfort food. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger. He said the burger was dry and well done. He didn’t like his burger.

Wendy (our host) and Nathan (our server) were professional and friendly. We have lived in the area for 4 years and this is perhaps the best food, drinks and service we have had thus far. Everyone should give this restaurant a try! Monte Cristo sandwich and pot pie were perfect. Very clean business.

While traveling, I sat at the bar tonight and had Jay as my bartender/server. After traveling all over the world I can tell you it does not get any better. The food was delicious, the service was great! He made it all the better by being so friendly and professional and prompt. If you’re traveling I hope you will come in and enjoy this experience, I don’t think you could be disappointed! The salmon was perfect and just fell apart, the salad is generous size, and the piece of chocolate cake was huge!

Over all good experience. Wait time was about 15 mins on Sat evening 5pm. Greated nicely.The server was attentive and our orders came out correct. Everyone’s food was cooked properly and had a good taste. The cresent rolls are great. The steaks could be more tender. One big thing is the prices… very reasonable compared to other places in area. Went up for the eclipse weekend and stopped here for lunch. We were seated promptly and our server came within a minute of being seated. Service was excellent. We each received a buttered croissant to start with (seems very few places offer bread anymore) that was very tasty. We both had the lemon pepper chicken. The chicken was very tender, juicy and flavored very well. The rice was moist and flavorful.
The broccoli was cooked and not just blanched. The potatoes were creamy but did have small pieces of skin in them.
Nothing was too salty (which seems to happen alot lately). The serving sizes of each were plenty. This was about the best meal I’ve had out in a long while. The cost was reasonable compared to the cost increases all around the last few years.

The atmosphere vibe to me is a modern contemporary Applebee’s or Chili’s. When the food arrived it really does taste good, the things about it is more like it didn’t arrive together and similar dishes weren’t seasoned the same and my drink took a long time too long to arrive. The service is abit all over the place. It’s possible we’d give it a second chance based on the food alone.

I’m giving two stars because my first experience at Cheddars I treated my mom to lunch. Our serve was friendly and when our food came out it was piping hot we had to let it cools down some. The fries were crispy and fresh and we both had the chicken tenders. Best chicken tenders I had ever had in my life.
Fast forward two weeks and I was excited to take my husband to dinner to try them. The experience was absolutely HORRENDOUS and I am afraid to ever go back and waste my money.
First when we walked in the hostess was more concerned about having a conversation with a guy sitting in the waiting area and a server. We were ignored for several minutes before being seated. We waited for our server who immediately let us know she had been working all day. That’s fine. I get it having been a server myself. She was also the same server from my first visit with my mom. The restaurant was almost empty. We ordered our drinks, appetizer, and food at the same time on her first trip to our table.
We waited 20 minutes before getting our croissants. Our server apologized and said she had forgotten. Long day, no big deal, it’s just the bread. Directly behind us was the hostess stand. Where we could see several of the servers and staff gathered around chatting and talking about being ready to go home and doing their work early to be sent home instead of waiting their tables. It was another 20 minutes and our server came by and asked if we had our appetizer yet and we said no. She said she would check on it. Didn’t see her for another 20 minutes. During which our entrees came and our appetizer was still nowhere to be found.
When we got our food, it wasn’t our server who brought it. It was another woman and she was clearly unhappy about having to bring it out and basically threw it at me at on the table tipping over my honey mustard all over my plate and walked off. My chicken strips and fries were ice cold and old. The fries were so old.
5 minutes later our appetizer came out. It was hot. It was our server who brought that and seemed shocked we had our food which I can only assume is because it had been sitting in the window for a while and she was elsewhere doing who knows what instead of her job.
She brought a refill of drinks and disappeared again until she walked up and said “cash or card?” Very unhappy. I said card and would be using the tablet on the table. Okay. And she walked away.
I was too afraid to ask for a manager or send my food back because of the attitude of several of the staff we interacted with and also didn’t think it would matter if we did.
I left unhappy myself after a ruined date night that we maybe get once a year.
Oh also consistency is KEY, I received 6 chicken strips with my mom. I received 6 chicken strips with my husband, and he only got 4.
He works in management at another restaurant and said that was the worst experience he ever had and would NEVER allow what we experienced to happen in his store.
I gave two stars because my first experience was wonderful, but I don’t know that I will ever waste my money again here to be ignored and have the quality of food and service we received last night.
Don’t waste your time or money here when Texas Roadhouse is right next door with similar prices and the food is always top notch.

My family went to Cheddars, however I stayed home. I’ve never tried this place until now. My family brought me home the Cajun alfredo. I heated it up on the stove (with a little cream), and it was fantastic! It heated up nicely, which is a bonus for me(I don’t like going out much). Pasta sauce was full of flavor, chicken wasn’t dry, and they gave you a nice sized portion. Definitely recommended even if you want to eat at home!

The building is set weird so we came in the side door. Hostess wasn’t the kindest then waited for our waitress for 15 min just wondering if anyone would be waiting on us. After that 15 min the waitress saved the experience with her amazing service! Menus was dirty which i pictured, Food was really good so all in all a good experience just a rocky start.
