I’ve never had a complaint about Cheddar’s until today. First an appliance was out. They weren’t able to offer many sides like Louisiana Pasta, Potato Soup, Broccoli Casserole and ribs(which was back on by the time we ordered). I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich which is my usual. It was burnt, sent it back and it came back the same way so I just had it removed from the ticket. It was totally inedible. My husband ordered ribs and we had a hard time even cutting them, we brought them home to “fix” them. Veggies and O ion Rings were good. It was just not up to par and I hope this is not the new norm. Service was good.

Appetizer was loaded fries with queso and they were delicious…the ribs could have been hotter, barely warm…fish and green beans good, the star was the broccoli cheese casserole…the waitress was spot on good

We recently visited Cheddar’s and had an overall decent experience. Our server KG was friendly, attentive, and kind throughout the meal, which we truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, there was a hair in our appetizer. We chose not to complain or ask for it to be removed from the bill, but it was definitely disappointing.
What frustrated me most, though, was the automatic $2.99 charge for the gaming device placed on the table. My daughter is two years old and didn’t play any games. I asked for it to be removed, and while they agreed, it took about 15 minutes to correct. I strongly feel this practice should be reconsidered across restaurants. If you’re going to place a device on the table, guests should never be automatically charged for it — especially when it isn’t used.
I appreciate the friendly service, but between the appetizer issue and the gaming device charge, the experience left me more annoyed than it should have.

My first Cheddar’s experience, courtesy of my fiancé and his family! This was a lovely introduction to this famous chain of restaurants. The prices were good, the food was delicious, and the service was lovely.
Our server was absolutely darling. This was after one of the snow storms in Kentucky, and they were out of certain menu items. He really went above and beyond by making awesome recommendations of what to get and putting one of the dishes ON THE HOUSE! We really appreciated such a kind gesture!
For appetizers we got their iconic Honey Butter Croissants, Homemade Chips & Queso, and the Loaded Fries. The croissants were fluffy and sweet and I can see why everyone raves about them. The chips and queso were soooo satisfyingly yummy and the loaded fries also hit the spot.
For my main, I got a Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs in BBQ sauce. My sides were mashed potatoes and fries. The ribs were very tender and definitely fall-off-the-bone. The sides were a nice compliment – I finished all of the mashed potatoes in one go!
My fiancé got the Ribs & Chicken Tenders Combo with a Baked Potato. He generously lended me a few bites of his tenders and baked potato, and it was delicious as well!
I happily took home leftovers for the next day. I can’t wait to return to try more of their dishes!

Really enjoyed my first experience with this chain of restaurants. Food was good and very well seasoned. Steak was perfectly cooked and maybe a tad over seasoned but still very good. The other meals were spot on as well. Chips and dips were actually one of the best chips I’ve had at a restaurant being just a tad thinner than normal restaurant chips. Only downside is location as the location is a little bit of a hike if you’re not already on the south side of Lexington.

Ordered the steak and ribs 3/25. The ribs and sides were fantastic!!! The steak I couldn’t even bite into. I ordered medium. But I couldn’t bite through a single piece, excuse the derangement of the photo but my goodness. It was literally spat out because I could not chew it. Everything else was wonderful. *And no I did not eat the remaining steak not shown, I literally couldn’t. Those are photos of when I actually got it apart.

We love Cheddar’s. The service is always friendly and quick. You can conveniently order or pay via the kiosk that is on every table. I love that they give you the honey butter croissants for free now because they are melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I had the meatloaf last time but had the gravy placed on the side. I am more of a ketchup and meatloaf person but that is a personal preference. The actual meat of the meatloaf was very well seasoned. Unfortunately, we don’t get to go often because it is on the other side of town. I Wish they wouldn’t have shut the other location down that was near Hamburg. I wish they still had their club because it was delicious.

It was my first dining experience and I was very happy with the food and service. Our server was kind and helpful. I got the battered shrimp plate and it was delicious! The shrimp was plump and juicy and the batter was crispy. My only complaint is I wish the green beans were fresh and not canned. The steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked as well. They gave us complementary croissants and they were so yummy! The price was extremely reasonable. Definitely coming again! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Appetizers we’re really yummy, I got a sirloin steak medium. Came out super rare and full of tendons. Second steak was cooked beautifully but still had so many tendons. Everyone else said their food was delicious. Maybe just avoid the steak.
