Just popped in out of curiosity, glad I did! The bar tender was really friendly and told me the burgers were the best in town. Well she did not lie! Best burger I’ve had in Iowa period. Burger was big and juicy! Everything was so well made. It was less than $20 bucks but knowing the quality of the burger I would of gladly paid $60. I will return and am gunna recommend this joint to everyone! Keep up the good work checkers!

My wife and i decided to stop in to try it. Can honestly say it was the worst food we have ever had. Nothing even compares. We had a tenderloin, a burger, and cheese balls. The burger was very well done and had a rough taste. The tenderloin wasn’t bad taste wise but was very tuff, small, and bland. What surprised us is with the price you pay the sandwiches don’t come with anything for a side. The cheese balls had zero seasoning and where bland. Also surprised us it didn’t come with any dipping sauce and we where charged extra for a single small cup of ranch to dip them in. While waiting for our food someone who I would assume was the Cook came out and with a rude attitude and tone asked what cheese I wanted on my tenderloin after stating to the server I didn’t want any. As for the drinks the beer isn’t bad but the rum and coke we ordered was flat. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Didn’t even get a chance to have a drink or try some food, I walked over from my hotel because this place was close and had some good reviews, bartender saw me but never acknowledged me, place was not even busy it was 500 pm on a Thursday, bar was full but the tables where empty, 2 other people behind the bar in the kitchen area also saw me and never said anything either, I’m glad I left and went somewhere else I got better service at the next place I went to

Theyee really cool foods good, im a fat guy so naturally im pullin up askin to swap out green beans for fries with cheese and they did with a smile. Hostess is very friendly. This is my second day there now and im thinkin i might be just a regular.

Met friend there after work. Hadn’t been there for over 20 years. Great background blues music. Last time there Billy Lee Janey played. Good options for happy hour. I got the tater tots with cheese and bacon. Oh my… swimming in cheesy bacony goodness. Mmmm. Quiet enough to have easy conversation. Good crew of what appeared to be regulars. Will return.

We visited for the first time to try something new! We both had burgers and were extremely satisfied, and full! Hung around for a couple drinks! We were extremely happy with our bartender Alicia! She is attentive and funny! We will definitely be back to try the pizza! Perfect old CR bar!
