As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I cannot give this Checkers a good review. You can see the picture of my Finishline burger that was lacking crispy onions, pickles, and the bun not toasted. They also gave me root beer instead of the Coke I had ordered, even after I had gotten my food and had to go back to the window to remind them I was still waiting for my Coke. The Monserella cheese sticks were actually fantastic. Also, when I went into the dining area after I got my food, the was one person seated at a table, and yet, not a single table had been wiped down.

I got 2 double checkerburger with cheese combo. It came with 2 double cheeseburgers, large fry, and large cherry coke. I gotta give that crew props because everything was FRESH and HOT The taste of the burger was on point.
The meat, onions ,cheese. and tomatoes tastes great. The fries were very fresh and YUMMY That cherry coke was nice and cold. I also got 2 Apple pies! Those pies were so freaking good. I recommend everything I ordered but definitely get you an Apple pie, they are only one dollar !

Paid extra . 50 for tarter sauce for this burnt hard petrified fish sandwich. Not the first time at this location. I don’t mind paying if I can get what I actually ask for. It’s hit or miss at this location. One time I was charged. 10 for pickles & didn’t ask for extra pickles. Pay attention to your receipts.

This is the last time I will order fries from this location. The last 3 times I was there, the fries were old and refried to heat them up again making them hard and greasy. The spicy chicken sandwiches were fresh and good however. Again I’ll never order fries again.

We watched an episode of undercover boss and thought the food looked good. Went at 8pm on a Saturday the food was not good. We ended up taking one bite out of it and throwing it away and went to McDonald’s. Wasted drive and money Never been to a Checkers because they never seem to have any business and bad reviews now I know why. Unfortunately I don’t like to be negative but maybe the day shift food is better?? Sorry…

Went to this Checkers on 49th street on January 9th about 4:00 in the afternoon. The gentleman who took our order wasn’t very friendly. When we got our food half was missing and what we did get was very sloppily thrown together. We used to love going to Checkers and the food used to be pretty good back in the day. I can see why there are less and less Checkers in business these days. If they could at least get employees who actually cared maybe they could turn things around.

I don’t give this a bad review out of spite but in a sincere hope improvements are made. Flew in to St Pete for work. Hadn’t eaten and stopped for a chicken sandwich. Sandwich was cold but I was hungry. I woke up running for the bathroom. Spent the next 10hrs on and off the toilet removing the chicken sandwich from my gut from both ends. I hope the owner recognizes the issues and corrects them.

I don’t post reviews very often, but I had the worst experience at the checkers on Ulmerton and 49th St. I ordered a pretzel hamburger. I did not get that. I don’t know what it. All the sandwiches that we ordered
were terrible. The buns are falling apart. Because they were so greasy We ordered two Diet Cokes. We got two cokes, french fries, were small and hard . I will never go again to this checkers. My sister ordered an apple pie and asked the guy, who was NOT friendly, twice If the apple pie was in a bag and he assured her it was,well it wasn’t. The whole experience was awful.

Got off my bus on 49th Street at 9:30 p.m. last night and as I approached the window, three employees were outside in the Middle Lane drive-thru smoking a blunt while listening to the Bluetooth speaker .
One of the employees laying down on the asphalt with his APRON ON .
When I got to the window to look for a minute and a half of what I might want to eat, one of the employees rushes in in , opens the window and says,
do you know what you want . Not hello how are you doing . I replied I’m not sure .
He IMMEDIATELY made a gesture and SOUND as if he was upset that I wasn’t ready to order and he was missing his turn on the BLUNT .
NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER SEEN
ANYTHING LIKE THIS !
I realize that it’s hard to get decent employees nowadays
But this was absolutely heinous !
