As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

Service used to be sketchy at this location, but it is back to its old good self now. It’s always a stop off when flying home out of Charlotte. Their fries are the best they can be not when not using fat in the fryer. Still good enough to go out of your way to buy some.

I don’t normally write scathing reviews but how is Checkers in Shelby still in business?? Ordered 5 burgers and a fry. Waited 20 minutes at the window after I paid and had to go back because they charged me for cheese and there was no cheese. I was offered a milkshake for waiting so long which I declined. They told me they were making fresh meat which is why it was taking a while. The mini van behind me pulled out of line and left and we were the only 2 cars there. The food was cold when I opened the bag less than a block from the restaurant. Buns felt like they just came out of the fridge. Fries were hot, fresh and delicious. That’s the high point of my Checkers experience. Sorely disappointed.

Came here at about 7:52 p.m. through the drive-thru I ordered a burger ketchup only, meanwhile they put ketchup mustard and pickles on the burger which is something I did not request, fries, tenders a drink and the funnel cake fries which I never received the funnel cake fries. I then just called the store to just ask him if they would be able to refund it to me and they were persistent that they handed me two bags which they did not I only received one bag. There would be absolutely no reason for me to lie about something like that simply as it’s such a small little item but the fact that the manager lied to the crew member that was on the phone with me about me receiving the funnel cake fries is a little ridiculous the first time and last time ever coming to this company.
I would have been 100% fine if they simply would have just refunded the funnel cake fries but the fact that they had to argue about it is ridiculous Your establishment is pretty poor and your management team is pretty poor I hope this gets seen because this is pretty ridiculous

My food wasn’t fresh. My grandbabies hamburgers was NASTY they took one bite and refused to eat anymore. I saw why once I took a bite. My food was cold. I ordered a double fish sandwich and I asked for extra tarter sauce but I didn’t pay for it and they didn’t add any more, instead it looked like I barely had any on it, and tasted like it had been sitting and wasn’t completely done. Last but not least this was my 1st time at my local Checkers. I wasted my money and I was upset at my experience I called my local Checkers but after many rings and no answer I just hung up and did the survey.

I waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes, only to get to the window to be asked what did I order??? Waited another 15 minutes on my food! There are hiring signs posted all around. Management if you don’t have enough people to work, you should close your doors until you do! No one should have to wait an hour for a burger! Once you are in yhe drive through, you can’t get out!

HORRIBLE. The milk shake was more like strawberry milk from school..it took like 10 minutes just for one milkshake…it was already fully melted when i got it. It tasted horrible. Never going again.
