Delicious food, fun music Bingo and pull-tab games, Touchtunes to make sure the jukebox isn’t forever stuck on Luke Bryan country “music,” and a fun place for a few drinks while watching the Purdue game if you can stand the smoke! There’s even a curvy server here who’ll make sure you never forget the scenery! We will be back!

Always great service. Drinks are not watered down reasonable prices. Food is hot and tasty, good portion sizes. My wife says their wings are the best! I had a grilled loin, will definitely have it again. Sandwiches come with one of their sides. Fries ,baked potatoes, slaw you can’t go wrong.

Although the food that is good here for the price it is ridiculous I can go to my hometown and get a whole plate of catfish nuggets for the same price for double the amount I just don’t like the price in here overall in Lafayette it is ridiculous

Bar with good drink selection and dance floor. Food coming out of the kitchen looked decent and they had security around making sure people didn’t get out of hand. If you like dancing on the weekend, check them out when they have a dj.

We attended a benefit event on 7/27/04. The drinks were flowing, food was great, the bands killed it, but what stood out was the staff. The staff was on their A game! Smiles the entire evening, making sure everyone was taken care of and when you ordered something it was there in a flash. Kudos to everyone at the Checkerboard for a fun night and successful event. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town.
