⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Toasted Sub Experience!

If you’re craving a toasted sub done right, this place absolutely delivers. Every visit feels like a treat—not just because of the food, but because of the atmosphere and the people behind the counter.

My personal favorite is the White Widow—perfectly toasted, full of flavor, and consistently delicious every single time. My 8-year-old is obsessed with the Dank sub, which says a lot because it’s not always easy finding something picky kids genuinely love!

What I appreciate most is that there really is a style for everyone here—whether you want something bold and packed with flavor or something more classic and simple, the menu makes it easy to find your go-to sandwich.

On top of that, the staff is always professional, polite, and incredibly attentive. They treat customers with respect, get orders right, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

Highly recommend—great food, great service, and great vibes all around!

This place is FANTASTIC! We had the most amazing service, very chill and patient as this was my first time there. The sandwiches are so good I tried the La Cana it was warm the bread was soft & yet crispy on the outside & so yummy. The desserts are large and sooo good rice crispy treats in regular and chocolate, peanutbutter goo balls & chocolate chunk cookies. The price was a little “high” (wink), but worth every penny. Benches were a little uncomfortable, but we didn’t care & we didn’t feel rushed to leave. Restrooms were very clean & thats so important to me.

I walked into Cheba Hut a blind sandwich virgin, uninitiated in the ways of toasted sub enlightenment. No Yelp prep. No menu stalking. Just vibes and hunger. The moment I opened the front door, I was spiritually tackled by what I thought was a giant turd swinging from the ceiling. I froze. My ancestors whispered, “Don’t touch it.” But upon closer inspection—and a squint of disbelief—I realized it was a massive blunt. Like, Cheech & Chong meets Macy’s Parade level blunt. Hanging proudly like a sacred relic of munchie culture.
Inside, I was greeted by the kindest potheads I’ve ever met. And I’ve met a few. These folks were rocking baggy clothes, beanies, and the kind of mellow energy that makes you feel like you accidentally walked into a Bob Marley family reunion. They offered help like it was their job. Which, technically, it was. But they did it with the enthusiasm of someone who just discovered a new strain and wants to tell you all about it.
I ordered the spicy club sandwich—something called “Kali Mist,” which sounds like a Pokémon move but tastes like a spiritual awakening. Layers of meat, spice, and toasted bread that made me question every sandwich I’ve ever eaten sober. It’s clearly the pothead’s Excalibur. If I had eaten this in college, I would’ve majored in Sandwichology.
To wash it down, I grabbed the Strawberry Dragonfly drink. I don’t know what’s in it. I don’t care. It tasted like strawberry heaven filtered through a cloud of good decisions. I briefly considered asking if they sold it by the gallon.
Now, the parking lot? Slightly sketch. The kind of place where you double-check your locks and make eye contact with no one. But it was daytime, so I felt safe-ish. Like, “I’ll eat fast and pretend I’m not judging the guy doing yoga next to a dumpster” safe.
Final Verdict:
Cheba Hut is a psychedelic sandwich dojo where blunts hang from ceilings, potheads are your spirit guides, and sandwiches slap harder than your auntie’s chancla. 10/10 would get toasted again.

My dad had never heard of or eaten at Cheba Hut, so I took him there for lunch one day. Now it’s one of his favorite places to get lunch. This place has some of the greatest combinations of sandwiches around. To top it all off they have Kool-Aid on tap. This place is not just for stoners but it does a great job of killing those munchies after a smoke sesh.

Absolutely 5 stars – Cheba Hut Toasted Subs is on another level! The sandwiches are insanely delicious — hands down the BEST sandwich I’ve ever had. Ever!! The bread is perfectly toasted, the ingredients are always fresh, and every bite is packed with flavor.

But what really sets Cheba Hut apart? The cannabis-themed sandwich names! It’s such a fun, laid-back vibe that totally adds to the experience. I love the creativity and personality they’ve baked into the menu — it makes ordering way more entertaining.

Every visit is a great time, and every sub hits the spot. If you haven’t tried Cheba Hut yet, you’re seriously missing out.

This place is AWESOME. If you haven’t been then I HIGHLY recommend it. Their menu is based on strains of gonga. And no, you don’t have to be a pothead. To enjoy a good toasted sub. I like the white widow. The white widow comes with grilled chicken. Lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickle sauce all on a toasted bun of your choice of garlic. Wheat or white bread. And for their fountain, drinks, my favorite is the blue kool-aid, but they also have it in Grape and red. I think their service is amazing. They get so busy and packed, but you’re not there waiting for long. They get through the line and they get your food out. Fairly reasonable in the pricing. You can choose from a nug a pinner, or a Blunt size sub. And the atmosphere is amazing.Everybody’s seen chill. Located in glendale, find an area near you.

asked for no tomato and still received tomato then burnt nachos to top it off. Maybe it’s better when you eat there instead of ordering online

“ Hey there, we’re really bummed to hear about your first experience with us. It’s clear that we dropped the ball on this one. “

Please ! Be more original to your customers who have had a bad experience! These replies on paying customers who are communicating with you a bad experience are beyond disingenuous and a slap in the face to people visiting your location! They fix nothing, get it together.

I won’t be going to your location just because of that.

Do better

Place doesn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. Customers smoking cigarettes right outside the door. Good tastes good, employees in general are cool. Can go with hearing the f-bombs from a couple employees making sandwich’s. Not going to deter me from coming here but still not cool. I prefer the Scottsdale location. It’s clean and that’s a big deal. Bathroom is gross here too.

Getting in is a pain in the rear, you have to come in while driving east on olive or south on 59th

Overall I love this place just wish they would wipe some surfaces down. Tables were sticky. Glad I ordered to go.
