Cheba Hut is a toasted sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and … well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Most locations also offer craft beer bars that feature local beers from neighborhood breweries. We strive to be your go to late night food stop. What really sets Cheba Hut apart, though, can only be experienced in our shops. We combine homegrown food with real people in a relaxed environment. Escape the established.

Cheba Hut is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The portions are pretty generous and they pile on the toppings. The atmosphere is fun if you are 4/20 friendly or even just like music and movies, etc. I would highly recommend giving Subway and Jimmy John’s a break and trying Cheba Hut for a different experience. You won’t be disappointed!

We were in BR taking care of business and decided it was a sammy kind of night so we dropped in. I got the chicken parm and the hubs got the chicken teriyaki, we both got kool aid. Of course our subs were delish, I popped my other half in the air fryer this afternoon for a second hit of that deliciousness.

The sandwiches here are really good and not just some novelty. I am a fan of Chicken Teriyaki and they had a sandwich perfect for me. My wife will try Chicken, Bacon & Ranch anywhere we go and she really enjoyed this one. Both of the munchies bits we had we also enjoyed. With over 30 sandwich options you are sure to find something you will enjoy.

Cheba Hut absolutely crushed it. This was hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The subs were perfectly toasted, loaded with flavor, and clearly made with care. The service was truly five star friendly, fast, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the place has a really cool vibe that makes you want to hang out and come back. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Highly recommend.

100% the best sandwich shop in Baton Rouge. My personal favorite sandwich is the Kali Mist, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is always super fresh and the workers are very friendly.

New Hidden Wonder!!! This is hands down the best place to grab a hot, toasted sub in Baton Rouge. It’s definitely our new favorite. The food is amazing.. you don’t even know until you try it! The atmosphere is light and the workers are fun and super nice and helpful! Love everything I have tried here… the pretzel bites though, with their tasty honey mustard sauce.. heaven!

Sandwiches here are top notch. Definitely excellent food, high quality ingredients. They are not the biggest subs around for the price but it makes up for it in quality and taste. We also did like the nachos however, it would be much easier to eat with a liquid cheese instead of the melted shredded cheese which makes everything stick together. The Cali mist is our favorite. Also, the white widow is very good and the ak-47 also very tasty. Staff was also very friendly. Good atmosphere. Nice location as well. They have a couple of large TVs also throughout the restaurant and they even have outdoor seating.
