Got the 4 course meu on valentines. Horribly overpriced and way way way below expectations especially the dessert honestly you can get a better tasting 10 dollar worth chocolate pudding from whole food and enjoy it better than this dessert. I cant believe they served something with such low quality on a 200 dollar 4 meal course. So disappointing wont be there again.

Solid 4. 75 Stars
We had such a memorable dining experience at Che Fico that we’re already planning our next dinner date there.
This place is super trendy and popular with tons of positive vibes. I love the energy from the staff and smiles on their faces.
Dishes were delectable and well presented. Started wth a Caesar Salad. Fresh Romaine lettuce and a tangy dressing with Anchovies. Followed by the Focaccia loaf. Buttery and flaky to the last bite. The Octopus and potatoes were slathered in a lemon Aioli garlic sauce and cooked just perfect. My Chicken Parmesan was packed with flavor covered in a rich Marinara and melted cheese.
We finished with a sweet and crunchy Cannoli and Gelato/Sorbet Swirl.
Sat at the bar and had a couple drinks with our meal and had excellent service from the bartender. I highly recommend you make reservations a day or so before hand as this place is popular. The menu is a bit pricey, but your are served quality food and fantastic service in a cozy and modern restaurant.

AO “Fine diner”
Good Italian place, not family style. The dishes are tasty and the portions rather small, the vodka pasta is really good and so the clams calzone. It has a very extensive Italian wine list but if not familiar with it, hard to pick a wine, they have a handful American wine as well. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, inside it gets noisy and the kitchen can be a little slow. The staff is helpful, must reserve to get a table. They can accommodate small events on a separate area. The cocktails are good but really sweet. For whatever reason they charge a mandatory 5% fee so that the can cover staff benefits that they should be paying, not the clients, so the total will be more expensive than what you actually thought it would be. The decoration doesn’t align with the pricing.

Halibut with well made crust and well charred octopus. The foccacia is different but delicious! The cannoli dessert was so-so. It was missing the richness youd hope for from ricotta

***GELATO ONLY REVIEW***
Premium Gelato in the Heart of Menlo Park
This charming gelato window is a fantastic addition to the local dessert scene, offering a high-end experience for anyone with a sweet tooth. The gelato is very tasty and stands out due to its incredibly smooth, dense texture and authentic flavors. It’s the kind of place that captures the essence of a traditional Italian gelateria right in the middle of the Peninsula. Whether you are finishing a meal at one of the nearby restaurants or just strolling through the plaza, it provides a perfect, refreshing break.

Effortless Outside Window Service
One of the best features of this setup is the outside window.

Convenience: Being able to order at the outside window makes the whole process feel breezy and informal. It’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go treat without needing to navigate a full restaurant interior.

Selection: Even with the window format, they offer a great variety of rotating flavors that lean into both classics and seasonal inspirations.

Experience: The ordering process was efficient, and the wait time was minimal, which is always appreciated when you’re looking for a quick dessert.

✨ Quality and Staff Interactions
While the focus is clearly on the food, the service experience is worth noting.

Flavor Quality: The flavors are rich and authentic. You can tell they aren’t skimping on the quality of the dairy or the mix-ins. It is easily some of the best gelato you can find in the immediate area.

Service Dynamics: The service was good and professional in terms of getting the order right and serving it quickly. I did notice a little bit of an attitude during the interaction—perhaps just a result of a long, busy day—but the staff remained functional and helpful enough.

Overall Vibe: Despite that small minor note on the service energy, the overall experience was positive and the product speaks for itself.

Final Thoughts and Recap
To recap, this is a top-tier choice for dessert in Menlo Park. The gelato is consistently tasty, and the outside window service makes it incredibly accessible for a casual visit. Even though the staff seemed a bit tired during my stop, the quality of the scoops is undeniable. It is a solid 4-star experience, and I’d definitely stop here again for gelato whenever I’m in the area. If you’re a fan of authentic Italian-style treats, this window is well worth a visit!

We dined on valentine day with the special menu, end up with $250 per perosn with drink. The appetizer scallop, pasta and desserts were good. But the main dish with duck and the side was terrible and honestly embarrassing. The duck was undercooked, not flavorful and texture was rubbery. The side bamboo was very hard to cut or bite. Very disappointed given the high price and special occasion.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary! Aside from the snooty older man and his gold-digging wife in the corner—clearly wrapped up in their own insecurities as they looked us up and down—this place was AMAZING!

The service was absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent. I ordered the Radiatore – (Pomodoro, Calabrian Chili Bomba, Alexandre Dairy Cream, Vodka). My husband ordered a rigatoni meat dish which was spicy and a pepperoni pizza. He devoured the pasta and absolutely LOVED the pizza (the crust is made out of fresh sourdough dough)!

HIGHLY Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was so disappointed in my recent visit. I was excited to introduce a new friend to the great food; didn’t happen. They changed the amazing focaccia recipe to something plain and wonderbread-like. The wonderful red sauce that used to go with it was gone and replaced by something difficult to spread or dip. Both the focaccia and our next dish calamari had so much salt on them I found I couldn’t eat the calamari at all. I expected better

Fabulous dining experience at Che Fico Parco in Menlo Park. The food was tasty and well-presented, and the staff was super attentive and efficient. Large outdoor dining area as well. Our favorite food items were the focaccia, the pepperoni pizza, the pork chop, and the gelato. Underground parking lot next door was easy to get to with plenty of spaces. Highly recommend it for a special occasion dinner!
