I ordered a Torta de Milanesa, this was my first time there and I recall the lady at the window stated this would include rice and beans, but didn’t mention the ham. Though the two older ladies were very sweet, I was disappointed with the lack of rice and beans and how DRY this torta was, it had little avocado and chipotle sauce as well. I also ordered a strawberry water which didn’t taste like strawberry at all. I had paid about $21 and change for both items, not cheap at all. I live far, and though it wasn’t what I had expected yes I still ate it as I was SO hungry. The price is expensive for what it was really worth. :/

It’s a cute older house that’s been converted to a taqueria. I ordered Al Pastor tacos and they were soooo good, made super fresh and fast!! I for sure didn’t know enough Spanish to order ENOUGH tacos but I left full and happy!

I asked for a torta combinada and they gave me a torta with only queso de puerco. No milanesa or other assortments of meats that they are known for. I drove back and was told that is how they make their tortas combinadas eventhough I have ordered them before and never ran into this issue. Granted, I did order two tortas with the other being queso de puerco, so I can see why the mistake is made, but they make big deal that I only brought back the torta that was wrong. Why would I drive back and forth on their mistake when it is obvious that they only plan to lie to cover up for their mistake. I have heard of similar stories from friends and aquatances and brushed them off since it had never happened to me. I can deal with a bad attitude but not being given the wrong order and lied to.

They have a great and heartier version of the Cuban sandwich called the Cubana. It was very tasty and if you want extra spice they will add Jalapeno and or Chipotle sauce. Service was outstanding and they took some extra time to talk about the restaurant and share the popular items on the menu. Will return often to try the rest of the menu.

First time customer. I googled “Best torta in Sparks Nv” and this was on top of the list. I used the drive-up window to order a Torta, a Burrito and 6 Tacos. The order took a little while to get to me but it was made fresh to order so I wasn’t complaining! I got my order and drove home to eat (about a 5 minute drive). I started with the Torta and was very pleased. It was not overloaded and falling apart like many others have done to me. Moist chicken and great bread. Google did not disappoint. The Burrito and Tacos were good too, but I was in a Torta mood. The green sauce made a great contribution. The girl at the window gave me a card to phone in my next order so I wouldn’t have to wait next time as well. I think I will take her up on that offer. I will be back.

So fantastic! The bread they use falls from heaven every morning at 9:55am. These tortas are like my children, I love them all! But there is a special place in my heart for the carnitas torta.
