I’ve not had a bad experience there. But I don’t frequent this one as often as the one on king’s why (which is great). They have more variety than Madison Ave, more space than kings hwy. I got what I needed fairly quickly. Only thing I can say negatively is they need to clean up the items in the glass display. The thing about glass displays is us customers can see it all. So every cookie that’d fallen out its dish, every empty tray with crumbs and frosting left behind, could be seen. I got 2 black and white cookies. Some cannolis and 2 cupcakes. They were super fresh and nicely packed. Those black and whites are my weakness – “Look to the cookie!”

Just ridiculously sloooooow. Has been for so many years. Each sandwich is made to order. In the sense that the person who takes your order will also make it. Three people working the counter at lunchtime on a weekday. No kitchen should run like that. Even the East Main St one is just as slow. It’s pretty easy. One person take the order, passes it to staff that make the order. Then the customer waits for their order to be ready and the order taker can ring them out. Not to mention to food is mediocre at best and the staff is leaa than pleasant. I probably go once a year to remind myself why I don’t go.

No reason for you to call ahead to pick up, when they are just going to make you wait in line with everyone else. I called 20 minutes prior of me getting there. The cashiers just told me to get in line wasting another 15 minutes of my time. Why are they accepting call aheads for lunch? Ridiculous

I went inside to this location and the lady seemed in a rush. I ordered what I usually get at other locations. i asked her for the freshest one. She swiftly caught an attitude and said that they are all fresh. Anyone who has worked in a bakery knows that new batches get put out throughout the day, and that the new ones get pushed to the front of the display. I’m now home 10 minutes later with stiff NOT fresh cream topping on my strawberry short cake. It’s HARD to the touch. The other croissant cream filled pastry i purchased is bad too. The cream filling is also hard, disgustingly old and stiff too. I buy these from other locations and other bakeries that use the same cream i know what it’s supposed to taste and feel like. Don’t waste your time coming here. It will be money down the drain. The cream should not be crumbling in my hand

Called 5x no answer. When I get there im still on the phone calling. I asked, “Why dont yall answer the phone?” A middle aged wowen who didnt speak english well said, “Oh we busy”. I look around 1 worker is cooking and the woker is just looking at me and their only 2 customers waiting behind me to be served. Customer service is horrible. At least the Fairfield location answers and its always busy in there.

Based on the other reviews about bad attitude and poor customer service, I’m not surprised that this is how their drivers treat private property while out making deliveries in a marked truck. Couldn’t be bothered to use the driveways just up / down from here to turn around. And, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that I didn’t receive any response / apology when I contacted them to report this.
