This was our first time dining at Chart House Prime, and I brought my 8-year-old daughter for a Sunday daddy/daughter brunch. It was a fantastic experience.

We were seated by the window with a beautiful waterfront view, and even though the weather was rainy, it was still great watching sailboats pass by while we ate. The setting alone made the brunch feel special.

We started with the crab dip, which was excellent. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles and absolutely loved it, and I had the shrimp and grits, which were flavorful and perfectly prepared. Everything we ordered was delicious.

To finish things off, she went with the signature hot chocolate lava cake, which was the perfect way to end the meal and definitely lived up to the hype.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Most importantly, it made for a really memorable daddy daughter brunch.

Highly recommend Chart House Prime if you’re looking for great food with a beautiful waterfront view.

Exceptional!
Everything was exceptional – The service, food and location We were the last reservation on Christmas Eve and we were not rushers in or out. The service was great, and the food was outstanding. The clam chowder was the best I’ve had, salads were great and the filet was amazing. R the he desserts were perfect as well. I really don’t think they could have done much better.

I went to Chart House for an evening out with a friend, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, dim, moody lighting, high ceilings, and a beautiful view of the water. It feels very upscale, yet comfortable and inviting, with a warm, almost homelike atmosphere rather than anything stiff or formal.
What truly stood out was the service. Our waitress, Tiaa, along with Ryan who was shadowing her, provided the best service I’ve ever experienced from a wait staff. Their pacing was exceptional, they gave us time to think through the menu, walked us through options without rushing, kept us informed about when food was coming, and struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and space. On top of that, they were genuinely great conversationalists, which made the entire evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. The service elevated the whole experience and is the reason I would return.

Chart House served up a spectacular wine dinner in partnership with Stags’ Leap Winery (“no, the other one” for Die Hard fans). Great service, well paired food & wine, and a lovely group of fellow diners. I highly recommend these wine dinners at Chart House in Annapolis.

Today we came to the second time, and since we really liked it the first time, we came again to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere in Annapolis. We also brought some friends from D.C. to this lovely restaurant we had enjoyed before.

However, one of the servers — her name was Alicia or Eliza , I believe — behaved quite rudely from the beginning.
When we politely asked for a few things, she responded with a harsh attitude. There wasn’t necessarily anything racist, but she was extremely impolite. For example, when we asked for ekstra hot water for tea, she replied disrespectfully, saying, “I only have two hands.”
Thıs not acceptable!!!

It completely ruined our mood. Although the manager later came over, apologized, and offered us complimentary desserts, the experience was already spoiled.

It’s very disappointing that such a beautiful and elegant restaurant — one that encourages formal attire — allows such unprofessional service. It was truly a big disappointment and an upsetting day for us. We wont be back!!

After coming home, I checked whether the issue we experienced was unique to us or if others had similar problems.

I found several reviews mentioning rude service and unprofessional behavior from the waitstaff.

Clearly, this is not an isolated incident, and the management needs to address and correct this situation immediately.

Don’t let poor service ruin your day — especially when you’re paying premium prices and expecting a fine dining experience!

We have been to this so called “fine dining place-casual attire required” 2 times.

At first we like the atmosphere and the waiter attitudes toward us and the service. Food was ok. We tried calamari, chopped salad the “eye of the ribeye” hoping that we would have the most delicious steak, unfortunately the small portion meat came with some burned outside and raw inside. Having this experience we still like the atmosphere and decided to visit again with our friends.

Unfortunately, the second experince was worse that the first one. The young waitress (named Elysa or Alicia) was rude and unwilling to service from the beginning. The last point which made us really angry; when ever we asked for extra hot water for tea, she responded rude and angry “I have just 2 hands etc…”

Whenever we talked to the manager, she gave her apologies and offered the desert on the house. But the waitress already spoiled the vibe.

it is unfortunate to encounter waiters/waitresses who display uncontrolled emotional reactions and disturbing attitudes towards guests in a restaurant like this.

Since this was a bad experience for all of us, my review is 1 star and I dont think we will go this restaurant again.

The food was extremely good, we loved it. Our server was amazing. The only thing was that we had a reservation and it seemed like we just walk-in, it took like a 20 minutes wait, but it was worth it.

Read some of the recent reviews that were less than stellar. Tonight when we dined on a weekday night at Chart House, I am pleased to say that everything was well executed. Our first visit to this establishment for a belated birthday meal. Whitney was our waiter, she was knowledgeable and answered the questions we had about the menu. My husband had the onion baked oysters, I had the crispy escargot followed by the beet salad (without the radish as I requested they be omitted). The baked oysters (6 medium sized) were rich, flavorful, fresh, and tasty. I am a fan of Oysters Rockefeller and this version was as good if not better than that! The crispy escargot each served in a mushroom cap were surprisingly good. I had only enjoyed the escargot served in shells with garlic and butter in the past and this presentation was unique and pleasing. I love beets, and the beet salad, goat cheese, and thin crispy toast was completely delicious. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For our entrees, my husband had the whole Branzino fish served with fresh vegetables, a large serving. Being experienced with eating fish with bones he enjoyed it, I had a taste and the texture was soft and tender . I had the Rockfish and Crab with asparagus spears and a side of Lobster Risotto. The Rockfish was prepared perfectly, the asparagus spears super tender and the risotto did not disappoint. For dessert we shared the chocolate lava cake which we ordered at the beginning to allow for the 30 minutes that we read was needed. It was as described and we would recommend it. The entire evening was pleasant, the serving pace was perfect, the assistant manager stopped by and chatted with us, made us feel welcome. The view out of the large windows over the water with the reflected lights added to the lovely setting. Would recommend and make an effort to return in the future. Well done!

We came here for our anniversary, and overall it was fine but nothing memorable. The food was good, but it didn’t really stand out. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly, though she was okay and got the job done. For a special occasion, I expected a bit more in terms of service and atmosphere.
