My friend and I had Saturday 6:30PM dinner reservations to catch the sunset over the golf course view. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated. Gregory our server introduced himself. He was very pleasant and attentive through out the evening.
We ordered Cocktails, followed by the choices on the “Restaurant Week” menu. We each had the Beef Carpaccio, Prime Rib and ended with the Cheese Cake and Mud Pie. All the food was fresh, presented well and tasted very good all for the great price of “Restaurant Week”. So glad we gave the Chart House another try.
Atmosphere: nice, but needs updating. Service: very good. Food: very good.
Stopped in for a quick happy hour with family. The drinks were good ($5 beer, $5 mixed drinks) and so were the appetizers. Our favorite was the Kimchi Calamari, which only had a hint of kimchi (thought that was perfect!) the firecracker shrimp were great also.
Our server, Azaryus, was incredibly friendly. Wish all servers could be as welcoming as him!
The ambiance was cool and a bit dark, but what we wanted for a quiet happy hour on a hot afternoon.
Recommend stopping in if you’re in the area and looking for a peaceful environment and good menu options.
Amazing views on the water, wish they would put more into outside seating with a patio and mist system…they had a small patio but not open. View from inside was still nice
Service was excellent. The margaritas were excellent, food was excellent. Booths are extremely difficult ingress/egress due to fixed table that won’t move and is too large.
The view from the restaurant is very pretty. It’s relaxing to stare at the lake and the golf course during sunsets if you could get a table by the window.
Food is below average:
Beef carpaccio is just salad on top of thin raw beef slices.
Crab and lobster carbonara was very plain that I had to add a bunch of salt.
Mud pie tasted alright but I ate a piece of paper apparently not house made.
Overall very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you come for the view and vibe.
Bartender Maddie had zero personality, came off as rude, and made no effort whatsoever at customer service. There are so many things I could detail but suffice it to say, either she was having a bad day or is in the wrong occupation.
There was a manager on duty who didn’t seem to be much better (Lori I think was her name). She was helping a little and had slightly more personality but not checking on things as I think a manager should.
Hostess, Riley, on the other hand, was great at customer service! She should be running the place based on this visit. Riley and the food runners are the only reason they get 1 star for service, otherwise it would be a big ZERO.
The food was pretty good and happy hour was very reasonable.
