Had chicken tortilla soup was good, smoked brisket was ok vegetables were hot but meat was barely warm. Wife said hot brown was just ok. Almost all tables were dirty, some of the dishes as well. Staff was so/so . See pictures for our hand written receipt. Went for a Sunday lunch, we were the only patrons.

While this is indeed a “Hotel Restaurant” it didn’t necessarily feel that way. And the food was phenomenal. The lounge is nice and the dinner booths are cute. They have very nice wait staff and a large bourbon list. It’s a good spot to spend an evening.

If you are staying in the hotel, then you definitely need to eat here. If you’re in the neighborhood, then you definitely need to eat here. I loved the big spacious moves surrounding the restaurant area, my waiter was very knowledgeable of the different bourbons and gave me recommendations. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious, including the bourbon, barbecue sauce, wings, they’re loaded, tater tots, and their shrimp appetizer. If you’re looking for some tasty food made with a splash of bourbon and you wanna learn about authentic barrel bourbons then you need to come here! Perfect for either a romantic dinner, dinner for one with your laptop, getting work done, or even meeting up with friends or coworkers.

It’s a nice enough option, food wise, for a hotel restaurant. We got mostly the sightly elevated bar food and were happy with it.

The issue is that they had about half the wait staff they needed the entire weekend.

The staff was running around like maniacs, but wait times were way long, drinks didn’t get refilled, and checks took forever.

The food is AMAZING!!!!! BEST Drinks. Mind u I ate off the chicken and waffles for 2 days and realized I forgot to take a picture. In fact they are so good I went back for more drinks the next day and tried the cod. I’m mad that I forgot to take pictures…it is HUGE. You get a couple of pieces. The service is outstanding!!! The people are friendly and genuine. What I really liked was the supervisor came to talk to our table and he shared that the people they have hired are a diverse group of people that come in different ages and ethnicities. The facility is beautiful and it is Derby ready so anyone who tell anyone who is wanting to come to Louisville for Derby it’s all set.

Great food, loved the atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. The wait time did go up significantly as the amount of dining guests went up but even then the staff did a great job making sure their guests had what they needed as quickly as they could. It was refreshing to dine in while staying there, I rarely eat in at hotel restaurants as most times I don’t have even a 3 or 4 star review to give.
I had the smoked wings, mussels, and yard bird sandwich. I would definitely recommend the wings and yard bird sandwich.

Excellent place to have lunch. Gourmet quality type food and service. The place wasn’t too busy when we came after 130pm but it was really comfortable and the food was amazing. The pic shows my chicken glazed her salad and pasta meal. Awesome flavors

Very good food and large portion sizes. The waiter wasn’t attentive and would be missing for a while. The service was very slow! Otherwise the food and ambiance were lovely.

The smoked pork chop was as good as it gets! It paired extremely well with the braised kale and caramelized root vegetables, and of course you have to do the Ole Fashioned.

We waited 1.5 hours for food. Appetizer didn’t come out until all the food came out, which should’ve been taken off the bill. Appetizer didn’t come out until all the food came. The brisket was just OK and tacos had no flavor. I will not be back. The honey bourbon chicken was excellent! Staff was polite, but that service and timeframe is just a little too much. It wasn’t even crowded.
