We have patroned this restaurant many times, and the service and food quality has remainded the same. Charminar never dissapoints. The prices are reasonable, and we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and the wait staff are friendly; quick service. Health and Safety guidelines followed to the letter.
The food is very delicious, with lots of variety. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s day, with areas to take pictures. My family had the pleasure to be waited by BHUMIKA at our last visit. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and sweet natured. Love the ambience. Very clean establishment. Child friendly. Good music.

Outstanding quality, everything tasted fresh and was served hot from the fire! The Malai Tikka Kebab was delicious, juicy and not dried out, still hot and seasoned perfectly! The chicken biryani was outstanding, rice was done right and the proportion of chicken to rice was generous. Makhani dahl was one of the best that we’ve had, absolutely delicious! Everything was so well done, the naan was both crispy and soft – fabulous! The price of our meal was so reasonable for the quality and amount of food we were served. Highly recommend having a meal at Charminar!

I recently visited this Restaurant and had an excellent experience. I tried the Ambur Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, and Bhimavaram Chitti Royyalu Vepudu. All the dishes were absolutely delicious, with authentic flavours that truly reminded me of home.
The owners, Shiva and Sudewp, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The ambience was pleasant, and the hospitality was outstanding.
Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, flavourful South Indian food in Canada!

We had such a wonderful experience at Charminar in Toronto. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm and inviting, and the food truly lived up to the hype rich flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and beautifully presented dishes. I’ve tried a lot of Indian spots, but Charminar – Indian Cuisine is on another level.
The Butter Chicken was easily the highlight—it was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, with a depth of flavor you don’t always find. We paired it with their Garlic Naan, which I can confidently say is the best I’ve ever had.
We also tried the Cardamom Chai, and it was the perfect, comforting finish to the meal. Beyond the taste, I was really impressed by the value. My wife and I were very satisfied with the portion sizes; we actually walked away with more food than we expected!

I ordered a pickup meal yesterday from this restaurant around 8:10 PM for three people. It was a $90 order consisting of biryani, Manchurian, mutton masala, karahi paneer, and two kinds of bread. My friends came from Belleville and picked up the order on their way. We had the Manchurian yesterday. Today, while having the karahi paneer and biryani, we found hair in both dishes. We called the restaurant and spoke to Sudeep. He asked for pictures as proof, along with the receipt. I sent him the pictures and the online receipt.
He called back and offered a restaurant credit or to prepare fresh food. I told him that I am in Belleville and won’t be back in Scarborough for a month, and asked to be compensated for the food instead. I clearly told him that the Manchurian was fine, but he refused to give a refund or even partial compensation. On top of that, he argued that the staff wears hairnets and implied that it could be a possibility that I put the hair there on purpose. This is absolutely pathetic customer service, and he didn’t apologize even once.
I told him that we hadn’t even opened the third dish and would be throwing it away without eating it. He argued that I couldn’t say that because the dish wasn’t opened yet. I explained that after having a bad experience with two dishes, we did not feel comfortable trusting the third one. He was not helpful at all and instead made it seem like we were doing this intentionally. Mind you, this is not the first time we’ve been to this restaurant, we’ve always had good experiences before. But the moment we found an issue and tried to report it, our complaint was neglected and ignored. Pathetic customer service. We will never go there again.

Had an amazing experience at Charminar Restaurant! The Indian food was outstanding — we especially loved the Indo-Chinese dishes and the chaat, which were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The service really stood out as well — Arpal, our host, was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and a place we’ll definitely be coming back to!

I ordered two buckets of Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani for my office team, and to our absolute shock, we found a metal piece inside the biryani!
This is outrageous and completely unacceptable from such a reputed food chain. It’s not just about bad quality — this is a serious safety hazard that could have caused injury or worse. Clearly, there is a complete lack of quality control in your kitchen.
We trusted this brand for safe, hygienic food, but this experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning. I’ve already raised a formal complaint and expect immediate action from your team.
Until then, I would strongly caution others to check their food carefully before eating.
This kind of negligence is absolutely inexcusable.
