I’ve had trouble finding great wings in the area. The best sauces never went with the best wings. Charlottes has solved that issue! I got the Flaming Fire wings and fries and they were fantastic! Great flavor and heat. I called in the order and the estimated time to ready was spot on. The people working there were warm and friendly. I’ll be going back very soon.

Came to town for work and stumbled upon this Kitchenette. And baby I am not mad at all. I am writing this review in between tearing this fried whiting up. The collards are fricking delicious. So is the Mac. As someone who travels for work, it feels great to have a home-cooked meal while away from home. I ordered the pork chops for my dinner tomorrow because she is closed on Saturday. Go get you some. I’m so glad I did.

Excellent food! Got the 6 wing combo with collard greens. I got the mumbo sauce for the wings which was delicious. Didn’t need ranch since the sauce was so good. Collard greens were some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!

Went here for the first time today. 10 stars by far some of the BEST soul food well food we have had in a long time. Highly recommend the greens OMG!!! Mac n cheese whiting down to the fries were AMAZING!!! We will definately be returning here. Owners were fantastic friendly great service!!!!! Fresh hot I can’t say enough great things about this place!!!

My wife and I stopped today for the first time, unsure of what to get we ordered 20 wings with 3 different sauces, 4 sides, and a dessert each. The wing sauces we chose were Flaming Fire, Bourbon BBQ, Mumbo and the sides chosen were Mac and cheese, slaw and baked beans. The wings were phenomenal by themselves but man was the flaming fire HOT! Everything we got today was great but my favorite by far was the peach cobbler. We will definitely be back!

i love to support local when i can, but local doesn’t always mean good quality. This place however is amazing, and i wish i tried it sooner! this was truly the best fried chicken i’ve ever had in my life. I can’t stop talking about it. owners are super nice, service is great, portions are just right for the price, everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. I hope they stay in business for a long time, and I will definitely be back to support them.

The 4 star rating is only because the hours are inconsistent at times. Sometimes when it says they’re open, they’re not. Sadly, you have to pay attention to the Facebook page as 50% of the time they will let you know if they’re gonna be closed for the day. I would suggest calling prior to going just to ensure they’re open.
Other than that, the food is amazing and Ms. Charlotte is beyond kind.

Discovered Charlotte’s Kitchenette through the Staunton Black Business Collective BINGO challenge, and what a find! The flavors Ray and Charlotte create are absolutely phenomenal.
I walked over for lunch and enjoyed their outdoor seating area while our meals were freshly prepared. I tried their wingettes and was absolutely blown away! They were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of sauce. While the Chicken Cheesesteak is rumored to be a crowd favorite, I’m saving that for my next visit.
Their kitchen is open Monday-Friday from 11am-7pm for both carry-out and delivery. Perfect spot for a delicious lunch break or dinner pickup.
If you’re participating in the BINGO challenge (which runs until March 27th), this is definitely a spot you’ll want to check off your card. Even if you’re not, Charlotte’s Kitchenette is absolutely worth a visit for the food alone. Highly recommend!

Had my first visit to Charlotte’s Kitchette today. The last thing Charlotte said was “You’re gonna love every bite ! ” Man, Did I EVER !!! I got the pork chop with mac and cheese and baked beads and a side order of the Whiting fish. It was Very delicious…all of it. And I have plenty left over for dinner tonight.
