First time here on Friday and will definitely be back! Came here with my sister for breakfast and the service was great and the food had great flavor. Potatoes were also just like I like them (not soggy)

It’s been 30+ years since I last visited this place. The last time I was here they had a pizza buffet night offering shrimp pizza (that long ago ). Of course things have changed. The dining area seems a bit smaller, but is still a good sized area with plenty of seating when we visited. Food was good, waitress was very personable, and the atmosphere was charming. Overall a good nostalgic experience for me, and a good first experience for the rest of the family.

Overall this was a good place to eat. Friendly servers and pretty good food. The Cajun pickles were a hit! Good price for the portions of food and our group enjoyed. I think we will come back for another go.

We stopped by Charlie’s on a total whim after church and wow, what a happy accident. Across the board, 5 stars! The food was so good it was genuinely hard to decide what to order, and somehow we still made all the right choices because everything was fantastic. Not a single disappointment. On top of that, the staff was absolutely amazing..,friendly, welcoming, and on it. This place just gets it. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is always fantastic. Great service even when full and clearly one waitress on staff…food is always fresh and fantastic even when ordering delivery. Nice place near main street, lots of free parking. Good service and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Just my take
The food was pretty good, staff was very attentive. Parking lot is small but there’s lots of parking in the street. We ordered the onion rings, but accidently tots were bright out. It was corrected immediately and the good side was we found the tots were delicious.

We used to frequent this place several years ago. Hadn’t been back in a few years. The new owner really is trying to go much more upscale which I suppose is nice.
Skip the calamari. Tasted excellent but a very tiny portion not at all worth $15. I expected about twice what I got.

The shrimp were much larger and better than I expected. After being so displeased with the calamari appetizer I was a bit worried about the shrimp. They totally redeemed the meal.
Oh my gosh those FRIES.
While I may criticize the new owner for the portion size of the calamari and the elimination of the salad bar these fries were freaking amazing.
Scrap all the other appetizers and just do a garbage plate of fries and I’m in.
I believe these are the best fries in Puyallup.

Very well run establishment quality selected ingredients and cooked to perfection. Short wait for seating and very attentive to customer feedback for requests. Love the flavor profile for my meal and flavor was on point. Looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu. Thanks team for a wonderful family restaurant you all rock!

Horrible day!! I have always had problems with my meals there. I once asked for chicken sandwich, and asked for avocado and tomato and lettuce, and I got a sandwich with just avocado, tomato and lettuce. I can’t have dairy so countless of times of not getting my meals correct, but I know they’re special so I let it go. But today, no. Nasty waitress. She has never been completely nice, but we put up with her. My husband likes their meals; me not so much Today, she was overly snarky with her comments. An hour and a half late with breakfast since ordering. No offers of explanation or even a sorry. When she came and asked if we needed anything more, I asked for a glass of champagne she said “I didn’t ask you if you want another drink, I asked you if you wanted something else with your meal.” We had brought company with us, and they were so offended by our wait staff and the long wait without kindness or explanation – I know they’ll never be back. Highly offensive day. I get it when someone is stressed. I’m a social worker and I get stressed all the time, but I explained to clients; I don’t take it out in them. If we do go back, and I won’t want to – I will refuse her as a waitress.
