First time trying this place, the waitress MARIA was so ignorant, rude, and unprofessional! She rushed me when ordering my food. She didn’t come to check on my table, I needed napkins because she didn’t provide any and she was just on the corner in her phone sitting down. I got up and went to get napkins myself. Then, when she brought the food to our table she had her phone in her ear and hair all up on our food. It was so unprofessional and disgusting. Food wasn’t pleasant at all very dry and messy.

This place lots of negitive reviews so i thought to give it a try. I dont base going to places based on negitive reviews i do read them as its enjoyable for me. Lots of “nasty, rude, bad, horrible, key words used but it was far from that for us. I think some google reviewers are very sensitive and dont know how to handle situations, so they just come here to put you on blast instead of giving an actual proper review.

I live locally and will not be going here again. I enjoyed the small diner feels and fast service. However, the waitress was over worked and very abrupt. Didn’t check on us once after getting order. We felt rushed. I ordered steak cooked medium and got well done. I ordered cube hash browns and got stale shredded hash browns. The waitress seemed very busy and I was super hungry so I just tried to enjoy my meal. The what I assumed to be the owner sat there watching the waitress struggle and didn’t even bother check on neglected tables. I told him about over cooked steak and wrong hash browns. He just looked at me like I was stupid for complaining. Didn’t offer any compensation for their poorly prepared meal. I ordered the most expensive meal on the menu you think they would take extra care on preparing it. I won’t be going back here. Such a shame because I live close and would be a great customer.

This location is fantastic! A family-run restaurant with a fantastic father-and-daughter team! Why there is even a single negative review is a mystery to me. I have been coming here for a long time, and they never let me down. The cuisine and service were excellent even before the remodel, and the space now has a beautiful, cozy, and welcoming appearance. Fantastic work, guys! We’ll be returning soon.

Even though there are severe restrictions, we continue to patronize Charlie’s because we have been doing so before the outbreak. The experience of dining inside a building was pleasant. You may select to have no contact menus, the waitress stands separate from you to take your order, and when people get up to leave, the user is right there to clean and sanitize. I must say that it is quite clean and spacious. Additionally, their cuisine is excellent. Charlie’s is highly recommended. Please help them out.

Decided to take the family out to lunch today. Wanted to go somewhere local and kid friendly so after doing some research I went with Charlie’s and I wish I would’ve went with my other option of Fat Ducks Tavern. When we walked in the one waitress was on her phone, she didn’t even look up to make eye contact and she didn’t say hello just said “You can sit anywhere unless it says reserved” after finding our own table I walked up to her and asked for 2 high chairs she still was in her phone and still did not give me any kind of eye contact and just pointed to the right of her and said “they are over there you can just grab it yourself)
