I just had a ceasar salad delivered & I couldn’t even eat it because the dressing tastes like lemons. I kept trying to see if it was me & it’s not. So I looked up if lemon is used to preserve salad dressings & sure enough it IS! I called to explain that the dressing tastes like lemons to the guy who answered the phone & he just said if he sent another salad it would just taste like lemon AGAIN. I asked his name told him I was recording the conversation and he hung up on me. I would NEVER trust ANYTHING from this restaurant again. I can post a picture of the salad I COULDN’T eat with the ENTIRE conversation added on review. He could’ve been polite and try to fix what THEY messed up however instead he chose not to fix the issue nor give me his name and hang up on me, which shows just how much they DON’T care about their customers & are obviously putting lemons in dressing to preserve it. Huge smile in your face acting like they’re your best friend. I will NEVER eat from here again. It was handled in a DISGRACEFUL DISGUSTING ENTITLED way. I wonder how they treat their other customers and employees. I’m going to be timing it to see if I get physically sick from eating bad dressing that’s loaded with lemon juice to preserve. It’s 3:48 pm I ate the salad with dressing approximately 3pmish and my stomach is feeling a little queasy right now. Not good. What’s wrong with these individuals

Ordered delivery and delivery was 30 minutes late. Food must have been sitting because our meal was lukewarm at best. Not a great temperature for chicken parm and fries. Also ordered chicken wrap and requested breaded chicken but they used grilled chicken. Called to check on order and they had no time frame for delivery. Not the best experience for sure.

If you haven’t tried the Shrimp Scampi pizza, you still can and you won’t regret it. Haven’t had a bad pizza yet…The only place to order pizza in the area. Tom’s River/Manchester.

I’m not one to complain ever being in the restaurant business myself but usually order pies from here and never an issue, always good. However, I was in the mood for some Buffalo wings and was beyond disappointed. Not only were they completely overcooked and all dried out, there was barely any sauce on them and the little bit of sauce that was there was floating in a pool of grease in the container. For $13.50 for 8 wings was a rip off for what I received and threw most of them in the trash. Those wings should have never left the kitchen looking like that.

Ordered a plain pizza and mussels marinara delivered to my home
. Pizza crust was way too thick and sauce was bland with no flavor. The mussels were lukewarm at best and were very rubbery. Again the sauce was bland with no flavor. They added parmasan cheese on top of the mussels but all thay did was make the mussels caked in parmasan which was not appetizing. I’ve eaten at Charlie’s in the past and food was always good but not today. Very disappointed.

Servers are phenomenal and bartenders, the Owner ehh not so much. And Scott the Manager is always professional and one of the hardest working gentleman in that establishment but as far as The owner Charlie he needs an attitude check!

Really great service and really great food! Our waitress was exceptional. We ordered a large cheese pizza (1/2 meat lovers) and an antipasta salad. Way more than 3 people could eat, so servings are big with plenty to share. Lots of great items on the menu. So good I got homesick! We sat in the back where we could catch some football on the TV. Cute little hometown bar area with good vibe! Been coming here for years, but moved away to NV. I have to stop here each time I am back in the area. I’m never disappointed. I highly recommend Charlie’s!!
