Located lakeside in the town of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Charlie’s is a neighborhood restaurant and marina, open year round. Charlie’s offers various dining experiences, all celebrating lake life. Our upper dining room & patio is host sat with a wide menu ranging from appetizers, salads, tacos, sandwiches & burgers, meat and seafood entrees, pizzas & pastas, and house-made desserts. With many beers on tap and a creative cocktail menu, an enjoyable dining experience awaits you. Weekend brunch is also served upstairs at Charlie’s. Charlie’s waterfront bar, The Landing and our large outdoor patio are the perfect place to seat yourself and grab a quick bite and beverages. The smaller menu offers favorites for those visiting by land or lake.

Yet another amazing find during my time in Minni. Just happened to be near, and was blown away by the service. My bartender was awesome, super friendly and helped me navigate the menu.
Speaking of the food. The Tuna app was amazing, and the Guds Hash browns. Are you kidding me? I’m gonna need to try that next time home. It was like a warm hug in my mouth with every bit.
Next time I’m in the area, I’ll be back.

Outdoor service was not available but we were able to order inside and bring it out. Food was great. Got kids meal burgers and a burger for myself. Pretzel and ahi tuna for apps. Inside dining was very busy. Portions were good sized.

Went here on a Saturday around 3pm. Honestly I wanted to like this place. The menu was loaded with options. The seating was comfortable. The view of prior lake was pleasant. They had a fish fry in the menu, but we were there on the wrong day. That’s not the issue I had. I was there because I was having a fried fish craving. I Google searched for “good fish near me” and I got this place. I saw that they had a walleye sandwich. I’m a huge stickler when it comes to those. A Large Beer Battered Walleye Filet on a toasted delicious bun with lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, and tartar….mmmmm nothing better. However this place fell short. The hoagie roll it was on was sub par and not toasted(I’ve had better bread from subway), the walleye portion could’ve been bigger for the price($19.50), they put MAYO on it, No tartar on the side, the lettuce was soggy, no bacon, and the tomato wasn’t ripe. Thankfully they allowed me to switch the American cheese with pepper jack. However that was an up charge. Never had a place up charge me to change the cheese type. Asked for hot sauce….got Tabasco…..ugh….no Frank’s no Tapito no Cholula…not even siracha! Our server didn’t even bring us the food. It was a different server. Our server did check on us a few times. Our server was bright and glowing. The other one (that brought our food) was a little bit tudish with an air of being bothered. Overall I don’t think I’ll be returning here for general dinning, but I might come back for a fish fry night.

Went here with out of town guest who had heard of this place. I had never been before. Food was great. Sat inside as wait was 45 min for outside. Atmosphere is very fun. Very local crowd. Service was great. Ribs were awesome full rack.

I’ve been to Charlie’s multiple times over the years, and I’ve always loved the atmosphere. Today, unfortunately my experience wasn’t so wonderful. While our waiter was very kind, they were very slow at putting in orders and checking on us. Once we were seated, it took about 10 minutes to be greeted, 20 more minutes to get a mojito and water, and about another 30 minutes for food. When the food arrived, it was good, but the portion sizes were not expected for the price that you were paying. Love Charlie’s for the atmosphere and the taste of their food, but it was met with an unfortunate circumstance today.

Atmosphere was amazing for a Friday night and enjoyed DJ Castro.
We had the BLT wrap which was pretty average and then had the shrimp tacos which were pretty good but soooo spicy! I have a tolerance for spice so I can’t imagine a true minnesotan eating those. Elote corn was great!

Busy, busy, busy! We were lucky to get a spoy in the main lot but the overflow is vlose too. Then we waited about 15-20 minutes for a table. Quite a beautiful waiting area looking out over the lake. Once seated, inside, we had a beautiful table that comfortably fit 6 of us. The bbq was very well smoked and my mom liked the fish tacos, despite her minnesotan mouth being slightly on fire. My only qualm was the kids menu. If we are to raise healthy children we need to offer more fruits and veggies to them too. Our server was incredibly kind. I really wish more were like her!

If you’re on Prior Lake, stopping out at Charlie’s is a must! My favorite meal is their Nashville chicken sandwich, Definitely get their buoy pretzel, but know it’s a size for SHARING. Love the atmosphere!

Had a wonderful experience at Charlies earlier this week. Our server Quinn did an absolutely phenomenal job taking care of our party of 8 despite how packed it was! My burger came a little undercooked and he had them remake it- and after someone else brought it out he swung back over with the extra pickles I requested when I first ordered- such fine attention to detail We all loved sitting down by the lake, the welcoming atmosphere, and the exceptional service! It is definitely apparent how much the staff here cares about cultivating a great experience! Looking forward to visiting again

Just the best all around! Highly recommend the chicken tinga nachos and Scott county fried chicken. Anna, our waitress, was awesome. Cannot beat the vibe especially when Jake Nelson is playing!
