We used to eat here when Charlie owned it and haven’t been back but a couple times since he sold. I specifically asked for hand tossed/ thin crust pizza. I was asked on the phone multiple times to make sure and I clarified with them that we wanted the thick. We also got a chef salad. These were the same things we always ordered when Charlie owned it. We pick it up and I opened to check the pizzas to find out they were all thin crust….i questioned it and the lady said oh well those come from the freezer…ok so why didn’t I get what I ordered?? She wasn’t making any sense so we paid and went about our business. We called on our way home and asked for the manager (not sure if it was the same lady that took my order over the phone) she said the Large didn’t come in thick…. Well why was this not told to me over the phone?!?! Then she said their thick only comes in the 10” and they were unaware we wanted thick. Very frustrating!! Pizza didn’t taste as good either, so will probably go to Casey’s from here on. Also the chef salad was a joke. At first we didn’t see ANY toppings, well they were under more lettuce on top. Makes me wonder what they were trying to hide. All the toppings were hid and finely chopped/minced. It was a joke. It was also higher than before. Definitely not worth the price when you don’t get what you want even though you clarified it multiple times.

Went here the first time today with my kids. They loved the cup of crayons and coloring sheets to choose from. Food came pretty quick and our waitress was absolutely outstanding. I can’t wait to come back with the rest of my family again

Having to suffer through religious music while I’m eating is a good way to ensure I won’t be back there’s plenty of other places to get lunch where listening to the owner/staffs believes isn’t a required part of the dining experience

Was passing through the town of Homer and was starving so I gave this place a try and was glad I did!! Fresh ingredients and the cracker crust is the best! Thank y’all for a great supper!

This place is amazing!! My husband and I have been looking for new dining places to try each week, so Charlie’s was it on Saturday. We were greeted by a very friendly “Mrs. Charlie,” as I called her. 🙂 I decided to have breadsticks, salad, pizza, and a Pepsi. (and was pleasantly surprised it was offered as a lunch special :)The hubs had a chef salad and water. Oh. My. Staarrss!!! Those breadsticks were AHHHMAAAZZINNGG!!! The ABSOLUTE BEST I’ve EVER had!!! So soft, fresh out-of-the-oven hot, with just an ever-so-slightly crisp to them!! My good sized salad was brought out on a Styrofoam plate, which was great for me! I don’t like those tiny bowls you usually get at other places where there’s no room to toss and stir anything. It was very fresh and the cheese tasted so real! Like it was freshly grated! Then the pizza! We are big Monical’s Pizza eaters, but Charlie’s! Oh my! It is now my new favorite! It was so tasty, the crust crispy, and the mushrooms very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his chef salad and stated he would get it again. We’re hoping to try the burgers next time, as reviews said they were great! Well, at least one of us, as I’m definitely making room for those breadsticks again! Lol. “Mrs. Charlie” was just adorable and had such a sweet personality! She apologized several times for slow service, as she said they had been very busy earlier, but I told her no worries at all! There was plenty of things to look at on the walls while we waited, and even lots of games we could have played. I know this review is long, but I’m a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due! Thank you Charlie’s for a wonderful dining experience! See you soon!! 🙂

I love the food here, its perfect for a small town restaurant! Its fresh, decently priced and tasty. What more could you want? Very family friendly. I just wish the decor wasn’t aged beer paintings on mirrors? But thats my only criticism!

I ordered for pickup. Online ordering was easy. 2 burgers, sweet potato fries, and boneless wings. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely order here again!

Service and food were exceptional. We were driving through and decided to stretch our legs, sure glad we did. The fresh cut fries were awesome and my daughter said this is how every pizza should be made!

I think perhaps they need time to work out the kinks. Service was great, pizza not so much. Toppings didn’t start until 2” in, and were sparse. Dough was just frozen boxed dough, thick and tasteless. Appetizers were good but not very many for the price. Next time I’ll try a burger. If it’s not a lot better than the pizza ……….then that will be my last time.
We were very disappointed with the quality of the pizza from the thick tasteless dough to the sparse blandness of the sauce and the scarcity of toppings. We had ordered two 14” pies but we recieved 10” toppings on 14” crusts. Comparable with a frozen Jack’s pizza but with Jack’s at least you know ahead of time that it’s going to be bad.
