For the entire 30 minutes my family was there, this guy was stomping around the place like a budget talk‑radio host who’d been left unsupervised. He was loudly ranting about politics, the President, and anything else his brain cell happened to bump into. Meanwhile, literally no one else in the building was talking politics. The only people speaking were the high‑school‑aged staff quietly trying to do their jobs while this guy auditioned for “Most Annoying Human Alive.”
If I’d been one of those kids, I’d have needed hazard pay. Or a mute button. Or both. I’m not a violent person, but I am highly allergic to grown adults who think bullying teenagers is a personality.
And he didn’t just correct them — he performed it. Full volume. Full drama. Like he thought customers came here for dinner and a live demonstration of “How Not to Manage Humans.” The poor kids looked terrified, which makes sense, because apparently their manager thinks leadership means “public humiliation, but make it loud.”
Sure, some of them are probably still learning. That’s what a manager is for: teaching. Guiding. Not strutting around like a dollar‑store dictator who thinks belittling teenagers is a flex
In conclusion, if this is the kind of “leadership” the place is running on, they might want to check the expiration date on their management. The staff deserves better, the customers definitely deserve better, and honestly, the manager deserves a long, reflective timeout somewhere far away from any living human. Preferably with no audience to perform for.
4.3.25 dinner
Counter service restaurant with good fried chicken. I had thighs with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. Typical fast food but as good as KFC and the other chains.
Recommended thumbs-up
The staff was super friendly and helped me decide what to order. They had a ton of sides to pick from and even gave us samples.
The food was good, the drivers were happy.
Delivery was on-time and well put together.
The delivery was an hour away, and the food was still hot and fresh.
The food was incredible. My first time having it, and I could not stop. With two plates full and 3 servings of dessert topped off with a couple of cups of tea. I had to make myself stop.
A. Rolls were good.
B. Rotisserie chicken was great.
C. Chicken Chunks were great.
D. Jalapeno Chicken was out of this world. My favorite, but the others was a close 2nd.
E. Sides (Beans, Green Beans and Potatoes) were dynamite.
F. Desserts were fresh and exceptional – Apple Cobbler and Carrot Cake. Mouth is watering again for some. Oh, the carrot cake!!!
G. Tea was great.
H. Plates, utensils, sauces – added bonus.
Went home and bragged to the family and told them we will be visiting one of the stores in the near future.
Drive-thru generally has a couple of cars, Sunday’s are packed.
Overall, the best bone in chicken in town. Would not go to KFC if my life depended on it. Locally owned and operated.
