Well, Charlie’s Cafe had some really good food. It was obvious from looking at the menu. They serve to a lot of different cultures. So whatever you feel like, they have it. Anything from Asian cuisine, to Hawaiian cuisine. Breakfasts from all across the United States. I’d definitely go back if I am in that neck of the woods. Their food is great.

Love the teriyaki. The owner is a doll. I gave for stars because the coffee is just terrible. I ate breakfast there today. It was good food. I reccomend finding a better brand of coffee. Give it a good taste test because the current coffee is horrid. My parents feel the same way.

This place will never see my business or anybody I am affialiated with again. My sister was trapped in the snow and had the sense to not try and drive through the storm. Ended up parking her car At the market/Charlie’s cafe and informed the market her car would stay until she could get it. Charlie’s cafe has her car towed in the storm the next morning. It’s a shame that a local restaurant that depends on local customers would treat a neighbor like this in such conditions. Disgraceful.

Went to go eat there today to find they are closed. Although, the sign says they will be reopening as Minas Cafe on Bay St!

We just decided last minute to find a place for breakfast and decided to go here. It’s a little hole in the wall and doesn’t look like much but the food was delicious. We will definitely go back. If you are looking for a nice home cooked meal. This is the place.

I havent eaten here yet but if the last 2 reviewers can leave negative reviews, after not eating here, I can review and give 5 stars to this place to counteract the actions of people who think poor communication is an excuse as to why you dont have to be responsible for your own actions! Ill be eating here soon to give a more accurate review the details on the previos comments were that the woman who had her car towed parked in front of charlies, but asked the market for permission due to this restaurant being closed! so if the woman would have parked where she would have been given permission to park there would be no issue! or if she left a note inside her windshield! or on the door of the restaurant. So these previous 2 negative reviews were the fault of the owner of the car not charlies, charlies (I imagine) had no knowledge of the car and why it was there and was well within reason for towing. Thats reality and the fact they left negative reviews on the restaurants page is simply adolescent behavior! I dont work or own this restaurant I just hate businesses getting reviewed unfairly!!!

OK for lunch … But not to go out of your way for Service was friendly but slack. Udon noodle bowl bland and sparse in veggies and overcooked shrimp. I perked it up with a side io Kim Chee Beef yakisoba was adequate, but not much more. Generous portions.

My daughter got stuck from the storm and left her car in the parking lot overnight . The biggest storm in decades and they weren’t even open. She checked in with the market to let them know she was unable to drive in the snow and got an ok. The manager at Charlie’s had the car impounded. A local business dependent on local residents and this is how you treat your neighbors in a snow storm? Tried to talk to the owner no compassion. Thanks neighbor. I’d help your child in a snow storm , they can leave their car on my front lawn if it’s unsafe for them to drive but I will no longer give you my business nor will anyone else I know .

This place has the best breakfast in Port Orchard, hands down. It’s not the fanciest place but it’s got character and the best breakfast food for the best price. Definitely check it out.
