First time eating here I place order on phone the lady That answered was very polite helped me order. I got the 3 piece chicken dinner. The catfish dinner with 2 sides.
Mashed potatoes and gravy sweet potatoes, sweet corn cornbread and a piece of chocolate cake.Everything cooked perfection i recommend this place to eat flavor was awesome. Chicken catfish, everything hot fresh just how food needs to be. Thank you, Charlie d’s for excellent food and service.

First time eating here. Went on Sunday 1/11 after going to two other restaurants looking for soul food. Saw a social media post about the Sunday buffet and decided to give it a try. The staff greeted us quickly and was very friendly. The food was amazing, the server walking around to each table serving hot fish was a bonus. Everything I ate was so good. The DJ was great and the music wasn’t overpowering. This will be my Sunday brunch spot from now on

The food was ok l. A lil dried out there were a lot of people there this particular day and it felt like the AC wasn’t working. You get a drink with the buffet but since it was so crowded that we had to wait in line for the drinks. It’s cool but nothing I would go back for, for 25.00 bucks.

Normally my food is great when I go to here but this time it was not good The mac & cheese wasn’t macking. The greens were bland & the fish was bland. I don’t know if they got a new cook but please bring the old one back.

1st thing 1st dont charge a convince fee if on your website if my order is not go be on time. It was 15 min late from the pick up time. The fish was good dont get me wrong. My issue is the portion for the price. $3 dollar sides in a 4oz cup i thought it was bbq sauce. Thats how small the sides are. Now my fish porton for a pound of catfish $24 for 13 small strips. No bread came with it. French fries was fire. I like the yams. Wifey didnt. . Greens was about a 6 out of 10.

Food is to die for (I typically go for the fried basa) but it’s all good. Love their homemade hot sauce and their cornbread and hush puppies. Was a little noisy in their on Sunday when I went (they had a DJ in their which was fine but unexpected). Food is cooked to order which is fantastic but does mean that you’ll have to wait about 10-15 min for your food, but it’s worth it.

Don’t get the fish or the coleslaw. Coleslaw looked and tasted like poison. Cabbage was translucent like it had been sitting out for a week. And there cod was nuggets of tilapia fried then likely refried from a few days ago. Was the driest most un edible hunk of flavorless trash ever. I didn’t even attempt to try the greens. Do not go here if you want fried fish or sides. Scary gross. Went without eating to night so save your money and your time and take this to heart. Not sure how someone can screw up fried fish this bad so, I guess they got that going for them. If they had negative stats I would give them that.
