Updated review October 2024: Still all good. Got the 3/4 pound catfish strips, light salt. Excellent! But it no longer comes with bread I guess.
Yes, you will have a wait time as your order is made fresh to go. (Call ahead if this is a deal breaker for you? Grab some gas next door and some seasoning from Peachtree Cafeteria while you wait.
Catfish dinner increased a few dollars since the last visit. Was worth every penny. Seasoned lightly and fried golden with just enough crispiness for my liking. Green beans and greens were good. Also ordered the catfish sandwich. Reminding myself to ask for fresh fries
Both meals were worth ordering again.
Service was decent and always a vibe in the lobby as music videos are playing. Sing along, bop your head, do a little dance.
The drink options were my only issue. No bottle water or options besides beverages overloaded with sugar. AfroPop or Vanlice Lemonade are some suggestions.
Be careful on the slope/bump while entering and leaving the driveway.

Despite tonight’s disappointment, I still believe in this place and plan to give it another try in the future. I hope management addresses these operational issues to ensure other loyal customers don’t have similar experiences.
