This is The Original sandwich, size large. It was almost $16 and is $2 more than the other standard sandwiches because it “comes with more meat”. It doesn’t even fill the bread.

Don’t waste your time and money on this dry, unseasoned, tasteless food. Ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak combo tonight and it’s horrible. The chicken is so dry it’s like eating sawdust. There are no seasonings on any of it and by the time I drive the two miles home, the bun was so soggy it fell apart. The cheese is rubber, the vegetables are thick chunks, and the fries taste like what they are- frozen unsalted fries. They do not live up to the hype or their slogan: the flavor is not like no other, it’s nonexistent.

Ordered online. After we got home from pick up we realized that we had the completely wrong order in the bag though our receipt was attached. The restaurant does not have a direct phone number, and a phone call to the centralized call center had us returning to the restaurant. They didn’t start preparing our correct order until we got there and they checked all of the food we brought back. We waited an additional 20 min in store and no compensation or refund was offered. When we got home they STILL managed to get the order wrong (wrong sandwich, and missing toppings on the other). Do NOT order from here without checking the food before you leave. Waste of time, gas, and money.

Nice and bright interior very clean and colorful. Friendly staff. They are known for their Cheese Steak and lemonade. I had their original old style cheese steak sandwich with grilled onions with a side of cheese fries don’t tell my cardiologist about that lol

Update – 2/27/24:
My, my, my… I guess I stand corrected! My hubby and I stopped by on our way home. We were a walk in order. We went ahead and placed our order and then sat down at a nearby table to wait for our food. We didn’t see any harm in that. We weren’t staying, and it wasn’t crowded.
Wrong answer! This lady nearly jumped the counter and was saying loudly ‘”Excuse me! Excuse me! WHAT are you doing?” I replied “Uh…waiting for our food that we just ordered!?” Then she proceeded to drill us, asking us,”Was it an online order or walk-in?” I said “Uhh…walk in!?” She finished with a snide “OH, OKAY!” and then stormed off back into the kitchen. What the hell was that?
If paying customers sitting and waiting at one of your tables is a problem, then get a damn designated bench for them to sit on! Wow! We definitely won’t be going back into that restaurant.
Original review: The restaurant was clean and the staff was helpful. I ordered the vegetarian cheesesteak and let me tell you something! It was the best I’ve ever had! The bread was fresh. The mushrooms, onions, and peppers were cooked to perfection. They use 2 different types of melted cheese and top it with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickle, as with most of their sandwiches. Way better than Mr. Hero, any day!
The vegetarian option is not on the in store menu, much to my surprise. It’s mentioned online only. That was a bit disappointing. The fries were good, and so was the chicken cheesesteak and traditional cheesesteak. Oh, and let’s not forget their fabulous lemonade! I would suggest getting it plain with no fruit option. Unless you like a scoop of strawberry sundae topping in your drink that gets stuck in your straw!
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. My family and I can’t wait to go back there again!

I love the ultimate fries, which come with cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing. I also tried the original cheese steak, which comes with cheese wiz onions, and I got mushrooms, and it was good they gave a lot of meat. They are very clean and professional. I go at least once a week.

It’s been a long time since I had Charley’s but the Philly cheesesteak was on point and they got my order out so fast after I sat down . It was amazing I love getting service like this . Exceptional keep up the good work this location rocks. I will visit this location again very soon.

The food was okay, and the dining area was very small but the staff members were unfriendly; in today’s world, service is everything, and the service was abysmal. The cashier was incredibly rude, never made eye contact with any of the patrons and continually served sass as an addition to every order. Suffice to say, I won’t be returning and strongly urge others against going to this location until the service improves.
