Charleys Philly Steaks absolutely delivers when it comes to bold flavor, fresh ingredients, and satisfying portions.The Philly cheesesteaks are the star for a reason. Every bite is flavorful and comforting. But my absolute favorite is the buffalo wing combo 🙂
The staff is patient, helpful, and genuinely wants you to enjoy your meal, which honestly makes a huge difference.
What really keeps me coming back, though, is the combination of great food and outstanding service. It’s rare to find a place where the staff consistently makes you feel valued as a customer. Charleys Philly Steaks does exactly that, and because of it, it’s one of my go-to spots whenever I want a satisfying meal and a positive experience. Highly recommended!

The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and just what you’d hope for from a cheesesteak and wing spot. I’d definitely go back based on the food alone.
The building itself still shows signs of its former life as an AT&T store, and the layout makes parking a little awkward thanks to the drive-through setup. Inside, the place was cold during my visit, which dropped my atmosphere score to a 3 out of 5. Otherwise, it had that “Class M” atmosphere — comfortable, clean, and full of promise for intelligent life who appreciates a good cheesesteak. Warm it up a few degrees and it would be near perfect.

Oml y’all. I been in WV 2 years ate here today. Mmm I been looking for steak subs that compared to Ny. Its Wednesday whoever is cooking your the best. Ty for such good filling food. I absolutely think y’all will be my favorite. Ty to the cook the nicest cashier. It was nice to get good food and good ppl. It’s rare these days. Yum yum. See y’all soon. My wings were so good. A Great Spot for a Quick Bite!
I stop by Charlesy Cheesesteak pretty often — it’s conveniently located right next to Lowe’s, which I frequent, so it’s perfect whether I’m heading in or out. The food is always fresh and made in-house, which you really can’t beat for a fast meal.
I appreciate the self-serve fountain station — while I do like the bigger ones with more drink options, this one gets the job done. Having the condiments out, especially the vinegar, is a great touch you don’t always see. The inside is clean, bright, and surprisingly comfortable for a quick-service place.
Just a heads-up: the parking lot can be a little tight, and the drive-thru runs close to the walkways, so stay alert going in and out. That said, the location is solid and easy to get to. The bathrooms were spotless on my visit — always a plus.
All in all, a great experience every time. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want something fresh and fast.

So good. The cheesesteak was hot, cheesy, and full of flavor. The meat was cooked perfectly and the bread was soft. Everything tasted fresh and the staff was great too. Definitely one of the best quick meals I’ve had I’ll 100% be back.

Charley’s Philly steaks is honestly such a high quality service. I had a delicious chicken Philly and loaded fries combo combined with the infamous strawberry lemonade. Quality of the food is A+, service is great as the employees are always respectful and ready to help, and the atmosphere is overall comforting. 10/10 would recommend!!

Horrible food barley any seasoning on the chicken wings, wings were cold and over priced. The wings on the right were supposed to be lemon pepper. They tasted like sysco chicken tenders. Skip this place

So first off, the food is pretty good. That’s the only positive part of this review. I went in at lunch today hoping to try the food for the first time and immediately noticed that the parking lot is TINY. There is only one access to the parking lot that serves entering, exiting, and the drive thru all in one. Fortunately, I found a parking spot (which there’s only about 10), but half of the parking spots can only be accessed by going through the drive thru first! The logistics are a mess. Once I entered into the restaurant, I was immediately warned to watch my step, as it seemed that the floor was just mopped with vegetable oil. After ice skating to the counter, I placed my order to eat in the restaurant, only to find out there are maybe 10 or so tables. (Not nearly enough for a lunch or dinner sized rush). So once my food was ready, I had no choice but to take my food to go and eat it in the vehicle. I’ve attached a picture of what that food looked like after opening. Despite all that, the food actually tastes pretty good. Because of this, I’ll give it one more try after they’ve had a little time to work on these things as I realize they just recently opened. Even if they fix the store issues, I don’t see the parking location ever improving just because the location is less than ideal. If you dine here, maybe consider doing it between meals.

We went in on Christmas day to the Kanawha City store and from the time we came in until we left the service was great! Our food was hot and fresh. It tasted great and my wife and I highly recommend this if you’re wanting fast, fresh,and delicious food. 10/10 stars from us. We are traveling home and tjis was a great quick eat spot.
