I normally don’t leave reviews, but people should be aware of what happened at this location.
My family and I visited the Charleys at 19701 Frederick Rd in Germantown (inside Walmart) and received an order that was burnt. When we politely asked the manager/owner if the order could be corrected or refunded, the employees stated that it couldn’t be remade or refunded. Once the manager/owner finally approached us the situation escalated in a way we never expected. He called us racial slurs and stated “this is why he doesn’t speak to black people, and ignores black customers.”
The manager/owner became aggressive and physically assaulted my aunt, striking her in the face and throwing a fruit container at her. She was left with visible bruising. The police were called and a police report has been filed, and we also have video evidence of the entire incident, which is why I am attaching screenshots here.
No customer should ever experience violence when simply asking about an order. We have reported this incident to law enforcement and Charleys corporate.
I strongly hope this situation is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

I ordered a large meal but only got two thin slices of tomato—are you serious? The staff was incredibly unfriendly; not a single smile or a ‘thank you’ the entire time. It felt like my patronage was a burden to them. Even for a supermarket eatery, this level of service is unacceptably poor.

I went here bc my son wanted a drink and thought we grab a little bit to eat. I was the only one in line and took a few min for any one of the employees to notice me. Then I proceeded to order, I order a chicken cheese steak combo but the sign and what was changed was a different amount. I asked my and all she said was “she didnt put the sign on there”, then she just walked off. I asked another staff to see if they had a manager there and she looked at me like she didnt know what I was talking about. The staff is one of the worst I have encountered.
If she apologized for the signs not being updated, would have been a different experience.
I’d rather starve then to deal with these people again!

I never write reviews, but that Spanish girl who was working as a cashier needs to be retrained. Her customer service is terrible. Find a job where youre not speaking to people if you don’t like it.
I used the x treme deal it comes with the sandwich fries and a drink when I got my food they only gave me the sandwich. I ordered a chicken philly , ultimate fries, and a watermelon lemonade. I then asked for the fries, when i check the fries theyre plain and now that i sipped the drink its a regular strawberry lemonade. I shouldnt have to constantly ask the employees for the correct items when I had a very simple order, I would literally never order from this Charleys again and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody either save your money and go to some place thats going to respect you.

We ordered a small a regular cheese steak they gave us both smalls and the fries where also cold. This thing was made for a kid’s meal. Never again. I hope they get replaced by a subway.

Decided to get a quick snack after shopping. Didn’t know it was gunna be a waste of my time and money. I ordered wings and a side of fries. Surprised that everything came out at the same time. No more than 5 minutes for everything to be ready. Fries were hot wings were NOT. Wings seemed like they were sitting for a while and they tried to resell them instead of throwing them away.Working in the food service industry for over 20 years you get an idea of what the cooking times are and how they should be presented. That was not the case here. Obviously you have employees that don’t care and don’t want to be there to do a simple job. Went up to complain about the wings to see if they had a good reason for them to be cold when they had just came out the fryer. They didn’t they acted confused like everything was ok. Left me standing there without a reasonable response. All I wanted was my money back but left with nothing. Will definitely not be wasting my money here anymore and will not be recommending this establishment to any one. Seeing the reviews obviously hire ups and management could care less.
