Absolutely disappointed with the horrible service at Charley’s Philly Steak today. My sister just wanted a Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Fries, but we had to wait in line for what felt like forever. And when we were finally next in line, the couple in front of us took forever to decide what they wanted to order, we waited an additional 5 to 10 minutes to decide. I was ready to say something to the cashier but I didn’t want to cause a scene. The cashier did nothing to expedite the process and just stood there awkwardly waiting for them to decide. Why couldn’t he have taken other people’s orders while they made up their minds? It’s just common sense. If it wasn’t for my sister, I would have left and gone somewhere else. Employers really need to train their employees better. #disappointed #horribleservice #customerservicefail.

Terrible service. The cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional. As soon as she realized I’m not from the U.S., she started talking very fast, rolled her eyes, and clearly had no patience at all. Instead of being helpful, she treated me with complete disrespect.
I’m from Germany and my English is fine — there was absolutely no reason for this behavior.
The food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth dealing with such bad service.
Thanks for ruining the experience.

Very disappointed. The food was okay, but the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. No greeting, bad attitude, and no respect for customers. Customer service really needs improvement. My son loves Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches, so went to order him one. The cashier, Sandra, was very rude. As we were standing there reviewing the menu, she decided to call the next person standing behind us. It was as if we were invisible. She could have asked us if we minded someone else going Infront of us but she didn’t. Her response was “you weren’t ready”. Felt like walking away but my son was set on having a sandwich. Finally ordered and she had a funky attitude, even slamming out receipt and change on the counter. They were giving out coupons but we didn’t want it so we pushed it back on the counter. Her response “are you done?” We were like really???? Spoke with the manager, who apologized to us. She took the employee to the back, and we could see them laughing. Then playing the part. Even though the manager apologized, it didn’t feel sincere. When we got his good, his sandwich was made wrong. We didn’t complain again because for one, he was hungry and secondly, because what good would it have done. Hopefully, this will reach corporate and it is addressed. There are many people that do not belong serving the public. Major training is needed.

I got the original philly cheesesteak and the new Kentucky bourbon cheesesteak. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious; it comes with steak, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions topped with melted provolone cheese and served on a toasted roll. This cheesesteak also comes with optional lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickle. My favorite was the Kentucky bourbon cheesesteak. This cheesesteak comee with grilled and seasoned steak with sautéed onions, melted shredded cheddar cheese, and French onion crisps, all piled on a toasted roll. The grilled steak is flavored with bourbon glaze which made it taste so delicious and juicy, with some sweetness to it. You can also get this cheesesteak with optional fresh lettuce and tomato. It’s quite pricey when compared to other places. Side note, I also got the fries; they are not worth the price, pretty basic, for a couple more bucks just get another small sub. For where it’s at, and the taste, it’s worth it. I will definitely be going here again when the mood strikes.

The staff were nice and the French fries were yummy, but the sandwich was barely edible. It was really not tasty. Both HOT and freezing at the same time? It was not good. Definitely my least favorite sandwich place.

My recent restaurant visit was a true disaster. The ambiance was unwelcoming. The waitress’s rudeness and lack of hygiene were alarming, handling food without gloves. The sandwich I received was a mess – careless assembly and left wide open. The sandwich bread was so soggy the potatoes fell out. She handed the sandwich in a very bad attitude.
Adding insult to injury, when I requested a refund due to the unacceptable meal that I didn’t even eat, the waitress actually laughed. This experience was a surreal nightmare. Avoid this place if you value decent service and edible food. Charleys Cheesesteaks, do better! Never coming here again.
