On a Sunday with only 2 people waiting on food it took over 10 minutes to receive the meal. The guy took my order then made the sandwich and after 2 more minutes started to cook fries. Needs to be retrained on efficiency

Charley’s Cheesesteak food is always excellent and is my go-to choice when I work out of town at Tinker AFB. The exchange is conveniently located on the base, allowing me to easily get my food and return to the site without leaving. However, be cautious about going in close to closing time, as they are often short-handed at that point. I understand that this can result in slower service and less friendliness, having worked in the industry myself. They could benefit from having more staff available during those times to serve customers quickly and with a smile. That said, I believe this is primarily a labor issue. I encourage you to try it out—you might love it too!

The OG Cheesesteak is AMAZING! Closest to Pats or Gino’s I’ve had in Oklahoma. Fries are always fresh as well! All the employees except the manager and thin girl with short hair have awful attitudes though.

It’s not for me. I didn’t think the food was very good. It’s basically heated deli meat on bread. The prices are high for what you’re getting. When I visited, they were very slow, also. The employees were polite — so there’s that.

I thought the cheese steak sandwiches were very good. And they are willing to serve on a bed of lettuce to make it keep friendly. I just wish that whomever began shredding the meat had not caught on. The original butter steak place kept the meat whole which made for a better pallet feal!

Bro at the register doesn’t care at all and doesn’t cook the fries long enough. The grill cook didn’t add the extra meat or cheese I paid for. Likely won’t be returning.
