Tiny 5 seat bar tucked away in an alleyway of Charleston. It’s a little hard to find, and we luckily found it empty. I forget the bartender’s name, but he was a hoot and the man! What was supposed to be just a quick stop for a drink each turned into a 3 hour, enjoyable stay. The stools filled up with other tourists, and we enjoyed one another’s company. Late night hunger then had us ordering delicious cuisine from the next door restaurant where the bathrooms were also located. Great time spent here jovially enjoying beverages and frivolously gourmandizing.

Eddie is fantastic and a great salesman. This place is awesome! I played Jenga with some folks from Nebraska and chatted with a couple from Boston. The hushpuppies were delicious. It’s a great spot to relax before The Elovaters concert at The Charleston Music Hall. Definitely stop by the alley; you won’t regret it!

We stumbled upon this place after eating at Virginia’s. It’s a very small bar hence the name with maybe six barstools but there is seating along the alley. The bartender was a great host and kept us entertained. We met many people from Charleston and New Jersey. I did get to try the fried shrimp from next door called Coast. There are several restaurants in the alley. See photo below. We also got to keep our cups as souvenirs. We also got to write our names on a dollar bill and staple to wall. Will visit again when I’m in town but maybe when it is a little warmer. Great memories.

This was on the top of our list to head to for the afternoon.and it is the cutest place. We ordered drinks, paid and tipped upfront, unfortunately once the transaction action was done the barmaid became distant, rude, obnoxious and even antagonistic. It was a chilly day today and it was very cozy inside but she opened the doors to cool the place down and we mentioned our discomfort and she told us she had a heater behind the bar. She then proceeded to run next door and we left with our canned beverages. Super disappointed as this was at the top of our list along with the whole alley dining experience.

Don’t be taken advantage of, fair warning!! Ask for the price before ordering a shot/drink from this place. I’m a local and now I know why this place is rarely heard of! $40 for 3 shots of house tequila, served in black condiment’s cup! Visitors beware!

One of the best little bars I’ve ever been to! Zach did a great job slinging drinks and keeping the great music playing! 10/10 will be back again and especially for the good music and great vibes! The restaurant attached we didn’t eat at but the aromas coming from the entrance into the alley way had our groups mouths watering. Mondays are burger nights and they looked amazing! We will be back to check out the food next time!
Thanks for the great time Zach!

First and last time here. We stopped for an after-dinner drink. The young lady was very unfriendly and didn’t want to be there. She made that very obvious. We wallked up and she said “yeah”. We purchased 2 drinks. $20. We could see she was closing soon. A short time later. My husband asked if we could buy 2 more drinks. She asked for our glasses but they weren’t empty yet. She threw her hands up in the air. My husband walked over and she told him she was out of glasses. Done. Not coming back. Wow. Note: Our last cocktail request was at 7:00. They close at 9:00.

We went to this bar to grab a drink and the bar tender was horrible. She wasn’t able to explain any beer, was quiet and almost inaudible when we asked questions, and just had a blah bad attitude. I was taking a video of the bar and she asked me to delete it because she was in it and made a comment like “you should ask people before you video them” (which I understand where she is coming from) BUT DONT WORK AT A BAR THEN. Especially a bar that is very unique. She ruined my mood and I would not come back because of this reason.

Great little bar!!! It has about 6 bar stools but has seating outside. My wife and I walked over from the hotel next door. We got there just before it opened. The GM, Andre, was next door at Victor’s setting up chairs. He stopped what he was doing and came over to to talk with us and to open the bar. He was very nice and was able to recommend a seafood place down at the marina. His recommendation was spot on!!!
