Another one of our favorite places for dinner. This was the first time we did takeout. The wait time not long at all. It was ready when they said it would be.

I came here alone for lunch on a weekday afternoon, I ordered the chicken parm dinner with their seasonal wine drink which I think was the Autumn Sangria, the food was amazing as always, the drink however was pretty bad so I didn’t finish that, my server was great, the only downside to my lunch there was one hostess, she was a younger girl probably early 20’s, when I first came in she didn’t greet me let alone smile or acknowledge me, however the second hostess that was standing there had nudged the first hostess to let her know they had another customer so she went to seat me all without a single word let alone a nice facial expression she just seemed like she really didn’t want to be at work that day given her attitude, so because of that I rated this location at 4 stars instead of 5. If the hostesses at the front had been friendly and that bar drink had been good, it would’ve been 5 stars.

I’ve been to Charleston’s many times over the years, and it somehow gets better every time I come back. I went to Charleston’s at 7:30 PM on a Thursday, and it was somewhat difficult to find parking. We were seated kindly and for an appetizer we ordered the dynamite shrimp. They were seasoned well with a flavorful sauce and were a great start to a wonderful meal. For an entrée, I ordered Walt’s champagne chicken salad, which I ordered almost every time I visit. The food took roughly 25 minutes from order to table, which is reasonable, considering how many people were there. The salad was incredible and easily the best salad I’ve ever had. They use a plethora of fruits and vegetables and a trifecta of other items on the salad. It comes with a croissant, which on its own is really good. I didn’t have the dessert this time but other times I’ve visited I’ve had the carrot cake and the coconut cream pie, which are both incredible. Charleston is a great place to go after church or anytime you’re looking for great food in Elkhorn.

Very disappointing Steak was waaay overcooked and charred. When I brought it to the servers attention she swiped my plate away, glaring at me, and left to have another one cooked. I had not even had a chance to finish my side. A manager brought the new steak out and said she would wait while I cut into it. It was so dark I could barely see but it was def not overdone this time, almost under cooked. She smirked, never apologized and while she walked away, whispered to the server. Rudest service I’ve had! They didn’t seem sorry at all to ruin my meal and acted like it was my fault. You would think they could be empathetic since the steak was $45! Will never return.

The Prime Rib French Dip and Rueben were wonderful and full of flavor with plenty to eat. Loved the cheese addition. Our server was very friendly and kind as well as checking on us frequently and keeping up refills. The only observation I had was that in the food preparation area a male with long hair was leaning over and rubbing his hands through his hair over and over. Another female was putting up her long hair swinging it around. Other that that it was a great experience. Thank you!

Let me start by saying that Charlestons is my wife and I’s favorite restaurant. We eat here at least two to three times a month between dinning in or takeout. Our experiences are almost always positive. However, today that was not the case. Everything was going great up until entree service. We waited over thirty minutes for our food and when it arrived my steak was completely overcooked (well done when ordered medium). When mentioning this to the server there was only an offer for a complimentary dessert as compensation. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over twenty years and am still currently employed by a similar competitor. What I’m most upset about is that a mistake was made on a $60 steak and a manager never came by to apologize and there was one readily available and she was assisting others with bussing nearby. This was not our normal experience and what we’ve come to appreciate from this location. Very disappointing.

It was my first time in this restaurant. We came there at 5 pm on Thursday and it was totally packed. The server was very professional. There was not any delays with a food at all taking in to account how many people were in the restaurant. We spent there about 2 hours and it was still fully packed. Great atmosphere, great food and excellent service.

Very good! Lemon martini, boneless short rib glaze carrots. Shrimp salad. Carrots are soft but not too soft. The mashed potatoes not too big of a fan They kind of did the lazy man potato by leaving the skins in the mash!! The beef was tender nice and moist but a little cold. The onion and pepper toppers on the beef could have been cooked down a tiny bit more onions were a bit crunchy.
Salad was made perfect their croissant was very good soft with a sprinkle of honey on amazing!

Told my server this was my first time here and he made suggestions for dinner. He wasn’t pushy and answered my questions in an attentive manner. That was nice as the restaurant was busy. I didn’t feel rushed.
The food was excellent! Our server stopped by frequently. Our bill was in line with the atmosphere, and quality of the food.
Overall, definitely a place to take the family.

A friend and I had such an incredible Sunday afternoon here! We have always loved this spot, but our server Brady made it especially special! He was very attentive and made sure we had exactly what we asked for. It made our experience so much better and we will be asking for him in the future.
