Fabulous time at Char-Bar 7. Food was scrumptious. Service was accommodating. Our Server was the sweetest and super personable. Meals didn’t take too long to come out, yet were fresh and not under warmers too long if they even were. Try the cranberry and kale slaw.

I had the salmon salad and it was delicious, highly recommended this dish. My adult son ordered the wings, and he was very disappointed in them. My daughter in-law ordered a build her own salad and she liked it. We went to the restaurant on the night of The Mint Hill Christmas parade so the restaurant was pretty busy but the service was was still very good.

$9 for a French Martini. NINE! The house vodka wasn’t even terrible, this is such a great deal!
Ordered fried pickles, fish and chips. Both were great. The options for the steaks aren’t abundant, but I’m sure it’s good. I think the choices were between a ribeye and filet mignon. There was a third option, but I can’t recall the cut. Originally, I was going to order a steak, but the lack of choices in cuts made me change my mind.
Can’t wait to come back and try one of their burgers. There were so many options and they all sound delicious.
Service was excellent and I loved the layout of the restaurant.

This is a wonderful restaurant, for the money, and service is terrific. We sat outside the restaurant where the doors are open to fresh air. This made for a terrific experience. They also have a good selection of beer, if that’s your thing. Char Bar is a good choice for a nice time.

We were there Saturday. 3 of our 4 thought food was ok. I thought it lacked The bun sucked, the burger meat seemed fluffy and fake, no flavor- bland. Fries and tots ok.
Waitress started out great and went downhill fast. No water refill for 45 mins. By then I done ate the bland burger. The other waitresses were spot on. Manager was correcting servers when they lacked. That was on amazing.
Prices ok since there is 50% inflation from Biden
3 of us had no complaints but I complain because I thought food needs vast improvement.
Im one of 4, take it for what it is. This place needs to step it up.
Noisy inside. Ac chugging thump and some guests have no inside voice.

Always some good eats with friendly staff. Had the ceasar with salmon this time and couldnt finish it all. The cook on the fish was excellent and the salad wasnt too over dressed. … it eas Friday night so there was live music and margarita specials. I’ve never had to wait for a table but its usually me and my bestie after a workout.

Went here for a lunch date with my Mom & Grandma. We always love the salads here and are always pleased with the food. I created my own salad with steak, cucumbers, tomato’s, cheese, croutons, onion, walnuts, and the balsamic dressing! Also added a side of sweet potato fries. Every thing that I have ordered here has been good so you cannot go wrong. The service is a bit slow as it gets busy during lunch time on the weekends but definitely worth the weekend outing. Will be back!

We were immediately seated on a Thursday at around 1pm. Everything was clean and the service was nice. We ordered the fried pickles which were excellent. Nice spicy sauce to dip in. I ordered the char burger which was excellent! Great flavor. The wife got wings and salad. The wedge salad was nice but the wings were nothing special. The flavors weren’t as big and bold as I expected, but all around great food and service.

Wonderful atmosphere with a very clean and warm cozy dining area. Service was great, and the food was fantastic. Even the fried pickles appetizer was a very tasty pre-meal treat for us. I had the Grilled Salmon (Blackened) with the shredded Brussel sprouts as my with meal side (and it came with a side salad as well). I look forward to trying their steak next time! There were these really cool table hooks that the ladies in our group really liked for hanging their purses out of the way.

Enjoyed my lunch here. Happened to have been in the area due to work so i stopped by to get a quick bite to eat. Service was good… Restaurant was clean and the burger was good. Looking forward to eating here again. Love that they had inside and outside seating.
