The food genuinely reminds me of what I’ve had in Italy. Not just the pizza, but also the sandwiches and the tiramisu! Everything tastes fresh, really well done, and you can taste the quality! I’ve even brought family who were visiting from out of town and they all loved it too.
The customer service has always been friendly and the service is quick! They were helpful in explaining different options on the menu, and gave me great recommendations. Their new chicken pesto pizza is amazing! My other favorite pizzas are the pepperoni hot honey, La Passione, and the margherita pizza. Definitely better than any other pizzas spot in Alpharetta, and Atlanta! Safe to say I’ll be returning!!
Favorites like the spicy Brava, La Passione with meatballs and peppers, Margherita DOP, with bufala mozzarella and our favorite Pepperoni Hot Honey each bring their own personality — bold, refined, and unforgettable. The Truffle Wood Pizza, topped with mushrooms and caramelized onions, is pure indulgence and adds a rich, earthy depth that beautifully complements the menu. Even the Caesar and Rucola Salads stand out — crisp, bright, and elevated with the same attention to detail you’d expect from a truly chef-driven kitchen. To finish, the house-made Tiramisu and Cannoli were the perfect sweet finale to an exceptional meal.
There was 6 of us and every bite at Char Pizzeria Halcyon reflects Chef John’s years of dedication and mastery as a pizzaiolo. It’s more than a restaurant — it’s a culinary experience that raises the standard for pizza in Atlanta. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates authentic craftsmanship, warm hospitality, and exceptional flavor.

We tried this time the Pistadella Pizza with Mortadella, Stracciatella and Pistachio. Too die for! DELICIOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The quality is top-notch. Their dough is fermented in-house, giving it the perfect consistency and chewiness while remaining very easy to digest. We’ve tried almost every pizza on the menu and they are all fantastic. My absolute favorite is the Truffle Wood (truffle white pizza), and my husband loves the 4 Porcelli, which is loaded with four different meats including sausage and pepperoni. I also highly recommend the Pepperoni Hot Honey or the Pistadella if you want something unique with pistachio and mortadella.
If you’re with a large group, definitely order a variety to taste the different options. Just make sure to save space for dessert—the homemade Tiramisu, Torta della Nonna and Cannolis are fresh and outstanding. We highly recommend this spot!”
The restaurant has new management / chef in the last 3-6 months… since then, the pizzas are new and (IMO) improved.
Really pleased I still have a pizza joint close to home, and even more pleased that it’s really REALLY delicious and very reasonably priced.
If you haven’t had the new chefs pizza… you really must try it.
