Food was very good , burgers need to big a little bit bigger , customer service was fantastic , bathrooms clean, restaurant clean, only issue is the ventilation system is filthy and disgusting and need attention immediately customers don’t need to see this filth and we are breathing this …. I will check back in two.weeks if it’s not clean the restaurant will be referred to city board of health , sorry but it’s for.the betterment of the establishment stop being lazy who ever owns this location and get this attended too…..

My family has made a little tradition out of meeting for lunch at Char-Grill on Saturdays. It’s pretty close to where my son has swim lessons, and we usually go after his lesson is over.
I really enjoy thier Jr. Steakburger with either fries or onion rings as the side. My son also enjoys the Jr. Steakburger. My daughter usually gets the chicken tenders with fries, and my wife typically gets either the Jr. Steakburger or the Double Charburger.
The fries are alway super fresh, hot, and crispy which makes them delicious! Just be careful handling them right after you pick up your order – they are very hot!
They have Pepsi products for drinks, as well as a separate fountain for root beer and other less/non caffinated beverages. They also have great sweet tea, which I always get; they also have unsweetened tea too.
It has a nice diner feel to it with lots of booth seating and an outdoor area.
I really enjoy the food and diner-esque feel of the place. The staff are always pleasant and quick to refull your ice when you need a refill from the drink area.

We don’t eat out very often, but when we do, we enjoy eating at this CharGrill. We’ve eaten there a half dozen times and everything is always fresh and hot and made to order. The employees there are consistently pleasant and happy. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean, not to mention the good music.

I’ve been here a few times now and I keep coming back because of the great customer service and the burgers always tasting fresh and being made to order, rather than just sitting out. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. Will continue to keep coming back!

Update: Dine in. 2 1/4 lb hamburger steak sandwiches. Grilled buns excellent. Burgers grilled perfectly and garnished appropriately. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their drinks are always great with the fine ice makes them more tasty. Previuos: Excellent as always. Delicious food and superb service. Return trip and ordered chili cheese fries. As you can see, I had to get more fries to finish the chili and cheese. That never happens anywhere. You usually don’t get enough. An excellent problem to have. Kudos to staff as always.

This one of my favorite hamburger places to eat. This was the first time eating at the Clayton location. Staff was very friendly, and service was very good. We were here mid-afternoon so they were not very busy. I had a 1/2 lb. hamburger steak sandwich combo with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, and some salt and pepper. The combo came with fries and a drink. Cost was about $10.50. As usual Char-Grill did not disappoint.
