Really needs a make over. Or at least a good thorough cleaning service… With some re-organization.. maybe remove items they aren’t selling and might belong to the owners/workers OUT of customers reach or sight. Food was good. honestly tho.. could use a better presentation. Who knows…maybe if this review is read by the right person. It Could help them(owners) achieve more revenue through remodeled business ethics and presentation.

Antigua Restaurant & Bakery does a great job at bring Guatemalan flavors to an American palate. They really are able to bring as close of a true experience to life through their food.

To all the people complaining about food not being ready, keep in mind what and when you order. Call a day ahead in the morning, or better yet two days before for the best bet. I come from the OC just to visit this place because it is worth the drive. I always buy a bunch of food to take home and have never been disappointed.

Take care of your local businesses and support them however you can.

If you’re looking for authentic home made Guatemala cuisine this is the place. It is a little high on price and the amount of food you get doesn’t justify what you paid, but the food is fantastic.

TO THE OWNER:
STOP SELLING FOOD AS GUATEMALAN DISHES!!

To all readers, please note that this place is nothing alike Guatemalan cuisine; our plates are rich in culture and taste.
My experience here today: requested two atol de elote and they served it cold, then I asked if they have tamales and they said until 6pm, I didn’t give up because after that I asked if they can prepare an Guatemalan breakfast, and they couldn’t because apatently they didn’t have all the ingredients (are you serious!?). This is why I would never come back to this place and don’t even recommend it to anybody.

Placed an order for Fiambre to be picked up the next day. The following day comes, and the owners hadn’t even gotten started on it when I went to pick it up. Didn’t get so much as an apology.

Price is different with his menu. And they don’t tell us before order. I don’t know if it’s because that we’re foreigner…After eat,we must to pay.So we’re not happy for this situation. Food and service is medium.
