Chapeau provides a marvelous dining experience. From the excellent service to the pleasant atmosphere (no loud music) to the fabulous food – I can’t wait to return. It is worth every penny.

Food is out of this world, every dish was unique and perfectly cooked. I wish they would gave some options for kids as well. Too dark, interior needs some updates. But for foodies this place is a paradise!

A family atmosphere with exquisite customer service. The food was extraordinary. The first restaurant I have been to with alcohol-free cocktails.

Came to celebrate our anniversary here on a Sunday night. The waitstaff was super friendly and attentive, I can’t say enough good things about how great the staff was. Unfortunately the food was just ok. We order oysters and the 3 course meal. The escargot and the salmon trio were good, though nothing stood out as amazing. The fresh bread was great. The crust was so crunchy and the inside was steamy and fluffy.

I’m going to be honest. I was feeling lazy and wanted to cancel my reservation but it was an hour before and they said that the system would charge my card so I went anyways and begrudgingly. I have lived in the area for years and never came here, even though I walk by it daily. I’m so glad I came.

My bf took me here for my birthday! The food was amazing and we met the head chef. I had the most incredible passion fruit martini, it was so fresh!

We had a lovely experience in this beautiful and quaint french restaurant. We had the 3 course dinner with wine. The food was excellent. We had onion soup, fresh beet salad, mushroom risotto, duck confit, salmon and an array of delicious desserts. The duck came on a bed of cannelloni beans and it was delicious. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The main chef also met us at the end of the evening. We loved this cosy restaurant and are looking forward to going back again. The only downside was finding parking which took more time than expected.

One of my favourite restaurants in San Francisco! The owner always greets every guest with a warm welcome. The food is beautifully presented and delicious! We had the trio of salmon, escargots, roared duck breast, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, basil Napoleon, and profiteroles…all were amazing! They also have a great wine list and friendly service.
