This location served great duck Porridge for a long time. I think ownership changed after Covid.
However, I enjoyed their egg noodles soup. I’m happy they change their setup using real bowl instead of plastic one.
Great value for a quick soup noodle. I appreciate the self service method.
My rating as 5 is very satisfy
Taste 5/5
Temperature 5/5
Cleanliness 3/5 food court
Attentiveness 5/5

I never liked chao long until I stumbled upon this food stand in Cali Saigon Mall. The porridge is very delicious & filling, and it comes with a bunch of pork intestines and fried donut sticks. I also love their spring rolls, because they make them fresh when you order. I ordered 20 spring rolls before for my family and was able to pick them up within 30 mins. They have great homemade banh flan too. The owner only accepts cash or Zelle, so make sure you bring either! Overall, this is a solid stop with authentic Vietnamese flavors and decent prices.

Texas June 2024:
Cháo Vịt Thanh Đa used to be my favorite place for bún măng vịt and cháo vịt for over ten years when the original owner/chef was here. He and his wife retired. This place changed owners about two years now. The food quality has gone down. Bamboo shoots were overcooked to mushiness. Broth in duck noodle soup and congee are bland. Duck meat has a very gamey smell. It was such a disappointment. I will not be coming back.

Tasty broth with noodles cooked right. The duck pieces were generous but it tasted a little off. Maybe the duck noodles are not very popular

The nicest lady in the food court. We try to stop by here every time we come shop groceries. Witnessed the owner walk all the way around and serve an elderly couple their food today since they couldnt walk much.

The prices are reasonable. I haven’t tried their good, but other people have told me it’s good. I’ve personally tried their cafe sau da (Vietnamese coffee) and I don’t like the taste. It’s to each their own. My parents like the flavor. It sort of tastes like they have pandan lead juice mixed in, which I don’t like, but like I said my parents like and other members have told me they like it too. There were 2 types of coffee, a regular and a stronger one. I got the stronger one and I feel like it’s a little misleading with the dark color of the coffee because it was probably one of the mildest coffees I’ve had.
As I’ve recommended previously in other reviews, I think there are better Vietnamese coffee options in the same food court.
Update: I tried their banh it tran today and it was delicious. It was 3/$5 and the filling was delicious and fulfilling. Definitely going to come back to get more.

The food is ok, and the price is very reasonable. There is a good number of dishes from the menu, so if you want something quick instead of buying all the ingredients and prepare them yourself, this may be the place.

Good food and portion size
Best chao vit and bun mang vit in DFW. It locates at the end of food court, so I didn’t notice it until now. I could say the price is reasonable and more delicious than others restaurant in DFW
