First visit here, not impressed. The pizza was sub par. It seemed like frozen pizza. We got a 16″ thin crust, sausage and onion about $30. The sausage had a mild kick. The cheese is mediocre quality. We usually love thin crust but wish we would’ve tried the traditional. The sauce wasn’t anything special.
It took 30 minutes to get our appetizers..
The teriyaki wings were the best part of our visit. They have a thicker ranch dressing, not just Hidden Valley out of the bottle which we like.
I asked if the cheese curds were like State Fair curds. I was told yes but they aren’t. The breading and cheese is not the same quality; however, they were good. Then kids liked them.
Our server was good and nice. She kept everything refilled and checked on us.

The pizza was hot, I’ll give them that. I wasn’t impressed with the flavors in the pizza, but that’s not really their fault. My gripes are this, there is nowhere near enough room on the table for 2 pizzas and 2 kids pizzas and our drinks. I literally had to hold my plate while I ate my pizza because there was no place to put it on the table. My other big complaint was when I got the bill. Who has ever heard of a pizza/bar establishment that charges you for every fountain drink you get. My daughter and I both had one refill and I was charged just short of $8 for a root beer and $8 for a kiddie cocktail (7up w/ grenadine). That was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. At the end of the day, I’d rather go to Broadway pizza rather than Chanticlear Pizza. That’s my 2 cents.

Good food for money but very poor service. Clearly understaffed (Sunday 11am) as we waited far too long for food. Then one of our 2 kids meals took 15 min longer than rest of the table (only 4 of us total) so people were done eating when our 4 year old got his food. And they forgot a part of his meal. So good food for money but very poor service. Maybe stick to takeout.

Made an online order for pickup. XL thin crust sausage pizza and chanticlear sticks. My husband went to pick up and when the young employee brought out the food, my husband said there is an order of chanticlear sticks as well. The kid told him it was in the box and my husband brought the food home only to find out they weren’t in there. Called and spoke to an employee that stated the system didn’t print out the sticks. He was told to offer coming back in to get them or refund for the sticks or a credit for the sticks. I asked if that’s all they’re willing to offer for the error. Asked to speak to the manager and Jeff got on the phone. My husband began telling him the situation, Jeff immediately interrupted him and offered the same thing. I asked if he was the manager or the owner because he was extremely rude. Owners should not be treating their customers the wait he spoke to us. He said mistakes happen and all he can offer is what we didn’t get (the sticks) and asked what did we expect? I told him I would just like the refund for the sticks because I don’t plan to attend their establishment again to use a credit. He said he was sorry I felt that way and I said the same to him before he hung up on us. Hopefully we get the refund for the sticks we paid for and didn’t receive. Very poor customer service from the staff and the owner.
Edit: It’s been a week and the company never refunded me. Tried calling several times and when we finally got through, manager was not in and we were told the manager would contact us the next day and nothing!

Another place that the outside left me unprepared for the inside. Great people, great hand tosssed pizza, fantastic cheese bread, and good red blend wine. Lots of Italian foods and other great things to munch on.

The menu was expansive and there was something for everyone. The pizza is really worthwhile! I am a bit of a pizza snob and so my expectations for the pizza taste were skeptical. I got the Chefs Special which ended up being very good. The crust was extremely crispy and and I particularly enjoyed the healthy amount of toppings that they put on the pizza. No skimping! The staff were all very pleasant and easy to work with an answered our questions fully. Service was very fast, too. The outside of this place does not do the inside justice – while it’s still a bar it was very nice and clean and sharp looking. I sat on the outdoor patio. All in all, a very excellent experience!

This is a very good spot in Maple Grove. I had the French dip with onion rings; they were excellent. The staff are friendly as well and a great place to watch the Vikings game.

Great tasting pizza. But expensive, even with a coupon. I’d stop by more then once a year if I could afford it. Parking is pretty good with reasonable access. Nice seating inside. UPDATE: Coupons are getting better as of end of 2023. Thank you.

Always good food with better service. I go here once a month with a couple of neighborhood guys. One of the guys is a regular and the server knows him. Our server today (8/27/2025) didn’t write a thing down. That always impresses me. Music gets a little loud so it’s hard to have a conversation. We’ll keep coming back.
