I’ve lived in bay city for 20 years and have never been but other Chinese places were closed. Very happy with our decision to go here. Just need a little more crab in the crab Rangoons! Otherwise perfection

The egg drop soup tasted like it had roach spray or rat poison in it, they only give you 8 crunchy noodles in each bag and the serving size is small for price. I will never eat there again.. and I don’t recommend this food to anyone!!

This place is a nice little hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant for a quick bite. Not much seating inside, small parking lot and maybe 1-2 servers based on the time I went (7/11). They were quick attending to me and getting the food out. The soda was flat but the egg roll was extra crispy like I like it. I got the pork noodle dish(pictured) and it was good. I was in and out in less than 30mins.

Well the first thing that I ordered was the sweet and sour chicken without sauce and what I got was drowning in sauce. I like sauce and my daughter, who it was for, hates sauce. The sauce was bland. The rice is super dry like it’s been sitting out forever. I ordered the scechwan chicken. The vegies taste like they’re freezer burnt, the chicken doesnt taste right… like rubbery… and the sauce has absolutely no flavor. The egg roll was greasy and bland. Just plain cabbage rolled in an egg roll. The crab cheese was bland. Then their sauce to dip the crab cheese tasted like straight grenadine. I did try to call to see if we could at least fix the mistake on my daughters order. But was sent to their answering machine since they close at 7p and it was 702p when I called after I got home and seen the incorrect order. Better off sticking to McDonald’s.

Ok so where do I started : hot sour soup wasn’t hot or sour, just tasted like broth. We ordered 3 entrees. The Mongolian Beef was so bland but it was hot. The moo shu pork basically looked like puke in a box. I’m 100% serious! I could go on about the chicken, and egg rolls but I’m not going to. All of the food lacked flavor. Bland tasteless. And honestly if you thought that moo shut, pork looked like barf. I spent 60$ , we ended up pitching it. Never to go back. There was no pride or love put into that food! I’m in awe!

One star is the bare minimum this place no flavor in the chicken fried rice was it fried I don’t know because it was white the egg rolls were good sesame chicken was not to bad but the only flavor was from t he sauce no fish sauce used no oyster sauce no soy sauce there was no flavor in sweet an sour just gross crab cheese just plain cream cheese.

I think Chan’s has the best Chinese food in the Tri-City area. Food is made fresh for each order, they allow for originality when preparing dishes and they have the most incredible crab cheese. We have been supporting this small business since inception.
