Met up with some old coworkers in Sunnyvale at this pretty authentic hunan restaurant. There are 2 in this plaza, this location is next to to fantasia tea or it says fantasia around it. For a Sunday evening parking was pretty busy but there’s a parking garage right across from it. We got a table for 5. We ordered 2 bowls of their beef and rice noddle soup (so good), beef and lamb skewers (I loved the seasoning, quite spicy), roasted duck (very crispy), and dumplings. We still had leftovers for 5 people and it was very affordable like less than $30 a person. I would def come back and even order out skewers. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered via QR code on the phone.

I saw the rating was only 3.8, but it’s actually quite good.

We ordered skewers, which were delicious even though there was a bit too much cumin.
Half a roast duck was $15, with crispy skin and tender inside. The crispy pork rice noodles were also very good, but the wonton soup was just average.
Service was fast and friendly !

First off, this place has one of the better roast duck. And it’s only $15.99 as promotion.

The rice noodle was legit. I have the beef tropes one and it was good. The tendon was tender, tripes were good as well.

I will come back to try the beef stew noodle soup. It looks good too but haven’t tasted it yet.

Came on a Sunday for lunch, and there wasn’t a wait. We ordered 2 skewers, which were both seasoned well and came out piping hot. I ordered the rice noodle with pork belly and roasted duck. I thought their noodles would be soup noodles but was more of a sauce noodle. The meats were good, and both were crispy! The portion was large and enough for 2 meals. Come early if you want rice noodles because I heard them tell people who came after us that they sold out of rice noodle already

Foods are tasty.

Staffs are quick and doing their best to accommodate and serve; however the foods had took some time to be served, otherwise will have 4⭐️

We ordered Cantonese BBQ Combo with rice noodles. The skin of Roasted pork belly and Roasted Duck are, to our surprise, very crispy and made better than many Cantonese BBQ restaurants. Noodles are a bit soft to our taste, but overall pretty good.

Servers are very attentive and nice.

The food is good but be careful on the poorest service and order management. It has happened twice to us that we successfully made an order for the roasted duck but after waiting for an hour, we are told that there are no more roasted duck. Once dine-in and once take-out. You guys need to learn how to run a restaurant first. We like the food but really don’t want these kinds of things to ruin the whole day. Will never go there.

So nasty. The beef noodle soup I got was so spicy the whole broth was just red oil. Undrinkable. And the beef was hard like jerky. Not really sure what’s going on here. Came when they just opened and won’t be coming back again. Utensils were not washed well either and had chunks of food on it.

Ok hear me out unless you know better you are going to accidentally walk into this restaurant. I was attempting to go to the place next door call jade tea garden but I unknowingly went here. There are signs and labels everywhere that say jade tea garden, even the sign above the door says jade tea garden but it’s not the same place. Maybe it’s owned by the same people or something. The food here is good it’s a noodle and duck shop. I definitely suggest the skewers as they are exactly what I was expecting in a well seasoned and cook meat. So no real complaints about the food just complaints about the misunderstanding and brand labeling

Came here on Sunday, and their official weekend hours clearly say 10:30AM–3:00PM. We arrived at 2:30PM, well before closing, and were flat-out rejected.

If you’ve decided to stop serving customers before 3:00PM, then UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS. Don’t advertise that you’re open until 3:00PM and then turn people away 30 minutes early. That’s misleading and a complete waste of customers’ time.

We showed up hungry, planned around your posted hours, and were told no. If you’re closed, close your doors and update your information.
