Excellent quality “American Chinese” food. Other locations of this restaurant are good, but this is definitely the best one. Reasonably priced, generous portions, ready exactly on time for pick up. Easy parking. I think it might be cash only if you order on the restaurant website instead of through a delivery service, but it cost a lot less doing it that way and was worth it.

Often get take out from Chang Jiang in DeForest and it’s always excellent food. This is the 3rd time I’ve gotten take out from the Sun Prairie restaurant and every time I get food that is extremely greasy. By the time I get home with it grease has soaked through the thick paper bag that they put chicken fingers in and through the outside bag as well. I’m done giving the Sun Prairie site any more chances. Do yourself a favor and get your food from the DeForest restaurant!

Very generous portions as many have mentioned, food is good for the area, online ordering was quick and easy through their website. I ordered a veggie eggroll and it was very greasy and unfortunately couldn’t even eat it. Would try again for sure!

Was craving some Chinese food, so placed an order online, which was quick and easy. Was surprised how cheap the prices were, but I understand now.
Got teriyaki beef, steamed dumplings, wontons, vegetable fried rice, and Kung pao chicken. The teriyaki beef was good, the fried rice was bland , and the rest is inedible. The Kung Pao chicken is nothing like any I’ve ever eaten, and tastes like Play-Doh. I’m not sure what’s inside the dumplings or wontons, but it’s awful. So for $30 I got 4 teriyaki beef sticks and some fortune cookies. If we don’t get food poisoning we’ll consider it a cheap lesson.

I am very disappointed with Chang Jiang. I have been coming here for years and typically don’t have any problems yet I went last night(June 4, 2022) and I ordered a vegetable lomein and received chicken. I went back in to get this fixed and was given a replacement only for that to also have chicken in it!
As someone who hasn’t eaten meat in several years I am very sad to see that this is another place that I must cross off as unsafe, even KFC is safer than this!
