Place is a joke now. Just shut it down. Went yesterday( a sunday ) at 1:30. They were out of all proteins except chicken. Ummmm ok.
I ordered a chicken quesadilla that was supposed to come with guac, sour cream, pico and onions/cilantro. No special modifications were asked for. I got this….
Ps- it was dead, I was one of 2 people there and the guy in front of me was pissed because it took 5 minutes for skmebody to open the window to get him salsas on an order he had already just picked up.

If you’re a fan of authentic Mexican street food, Chando’s is a must-visit — and their mulitas are nothing short of incredible. Imagine two perfectly crisped tortillas hugging juicy, seasoned meat, melty cheese, and fresh toppings — it’s like a taco and a quesadilla had the perfect baby.
I ordered the shrimp mulitas combo, and the flavor was out of this world. The shrimp was tender and packed with smoky, grilled flavor, and the cheese had just the right stretch and richness. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they put heart into every bite. Fast service, friendly staff, and bold, unforgettable flavors. If you haven’t tried their mulitas yet, you’re seriously missing out.

I went here and I bought the fish tacos. It seemed to take quite a long time for them to cook the tacos. The presentation looked good, but when you looked at the fish, it was completely charred. And it tasted that way too. I can’t talk about the other food that they serve, but I certainly cannot recommend the fish tacos. They also need to speed up the process a bit. I left here thinking that I should have gone somewhere else instead.

The quality of a good taqueria can usually be determined by the quality of its burritos and by that measure Chando’s Tacos hits a home run right out of the park.
Service was extremely fast. By the time I had signed for the order and walked all of 5 feet to the pick up window, my order was already being wrapped up and placed in a plain brown paper bag.
I ordered a pollo asado burrito and a cold horchata to wash it down. Protected by 2 layers of foil, this was a treasure just waiting to be opened. I untwisted an end and pulled open the inner layer to reveal a piping hot Mexican gift from the Gods. The very first bite told me everything I needed to know: Grilled chicken cooked to perfection with just the right amount of searing on the edges and moist inside, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cilantro also joined in the festivities and made this one of my most memorable dining experiences to date.

The tacos de cabeza sauce isnt spicy pretty mild. Tacos were good they do them double tortilla (corn) I like the seating too its shaded. They dont have restrooms though! Got my order quick. I also appreciated the napkins because taco places sometimes give those nasty lil napkins that stick to your hand but they had normal fast food kind. Would def recommend 🙂

Hard to beat Chandos. Really good food and sweet employees behind the walk up windows. This particular location has some parking challenges and with light rail station across the street there can be some unsavory encounters with transients. Food and staff make it worth the visit. If you’ve not eaten here yet, it’s time.

Down in Sactown to pick up a Retaliator Wrangdobbler for my Yarncoddler from my pal Blinkbatter Yhostlehaulf at his Winnebago shop, and passed by Chando’s Taco Truck, the aromas were amazing, I had to stop. So I did, and I was right about those aromas, they were just as good as the food they were coming from. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Got on DoorDash so can’t rate service or atmosphere but the food was inedible. I got the carne asada fries and the carne meat was dry and old and overcooked, the fries were brown and soggy and tasted smoky. The nacho cheese came on the side which is good. I also got quesabirria tacos and they were wayyy overcooked and tasted burnt. The pictures speak for themselves. Will never eat here again. DoorDash refunded me some money but still cost me $20 for a lunch I threw out.

I had the steak and chicken tacos absolutely amazing! Both were delicious with the salsa verde definitely recommend coming here. Also on Tuesdays it’s $2.50 for each taco well worth it!

I ordered the carne asada burrito. It was not what I expected, but that being said, it was delicious! I would call this more of a taco wrap than a burrito, no beans or rice in it and a lot of lettuce, but the flavor was great and I’d have it again.
