Tastes very good but the lunch buffet closes at 2pm. All the items are fresh and tasty. I think They should extend the buffet until 4pm

We visited Chand Palace in Parsippany to celebrate my friend’s birthday and opted for their buffet. From the moment we walked in, the experience started off well we were welcomed warmly and seated immediately.
The starter section was impressive , offering a wide variety including vegetarian cutlets, samosas, raj kachori, bhel, hara bhara kebabs, and lemon coriander soup. I absolutely loved the kebabs crispy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. We can order only 2 types of Kachori among 8 I guess. The soup was top-notch light yet flavorful, and perfect for the rainy weather we had that day.
When it came to the main course, however, I was slightly underwhelmed. The paneer was too hard for my liking and lacked flavor. The noodles and fried rice were okay, but a bit too heavy on the soy sauce. There was also a mixed vegetable dish in Schezwan sauce, which added variety, and naan was served fresh upon request.
What truly stood out for me was the dessert section. The payasam was absolutely delicious warm, sweet, and comforting. You can also order mango lassi, which added a nice touch to the end of the meal.
Service was quick and friendly, and we appreciated the free parking available on-site. Overall, it was a nice experience, especially with the celebration vibe, but I do hope they expand and improve the main course selection to match the excellent starters and desserts.

I ordered food for a small party. Food was awesome. Everyone liked it . Food was ready well in time to pick up though we wanted it to get delivered but they didn’t have anyone to deliver this order for around 20-25 people. Pure vegetarian Indian food, our order had dal, malai kofta, veg jalfrazi, paneer makhani, dahi vada, manchurian, plane rice, biryani, gulab jamun, Ras malai, Malpua with rabdi, different kind of bread raita etc. everything was very good. Mr Vishal was very helpful and cooperative at Chand palace Parsippany. Highly recommended for dine in or party food. One of our favourite place to dine in as well.

Must-Visit Indian Vegetarian Gem in Parsippany!

Chand Palace never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic — you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. Their buffet has an amazing variety of North and South Indian items, and everything from the paneer curries to the dosas and chaat is top-notch.

The service is warm and attentive — the staff make you feel welcome right away. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and perfect for both family gatherings and casual dinners. I especially love how consistent the quality has been over the years — truly a hidden gem for anyone who enjoys real Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Chand Palace in Parsippany delivers an outstanding culinary experience that perfectly balances authentic flavors and impeccable quality. Every dish, from their flavorful curries and soft naans to the crispy appetizers and rich desserts, reflects true Indian tradition and attention to detail. The buffet spread offers an impressive variety, with each item tasting freshly prepared and full of aroma. The restaurant maintains excellent hygiene and presentation, ensuring every plate looks as good as it tastes.

Equally remarkable is their service — the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel comfortable and cared for. They promptly refill dishes, check in with diners, and handle special requests with a smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the entire dining experience. Whether you’re visiting with family or friends, Chand Palace stands out as one of the best places in Parsippany to enjoy exceptional Indian vegetarian food served with heartfelt hospitality.

This place has deteriorated over the years. It used to be good but now it’s just average. Last I went was for a buffet. The appetizers were great. Lot of variety, very tasty. But the main course was very disappointing. Desserts have a lot of variety but only 2 of them were actually good tasting. It’s disappointing to see quality/ taste dipping like this when you know the same chef is cooking it all. I wonder how is it possible he knows how to cook selective dishes. That’s when lack of consistently makes it difficult for anyone to dine at places like these. I would like to add that I have not dined in alacarte so may be it’s just the buffet.

Quality of food has gone down and prices are up. Only buffet during Diwali time was not worth for the people who has limited options to eat specially Jain people and elderly people who cannot get up to get their buffet food.
Food quality was really bad. Panipuri water was very sour and old. Dahi Vada smelled like it was older than a week. Most of items in buffet tested like it were older than 2 days.
I felt worst in my stomach even if I had little food. Also have a sore throat after eating Diwali sweets.
Previous owners used to have most of the fresh food and used to make fresh options for people with dietary restrictions like Jain or elderly. I used to love going to Chand palace but not any more. I will never go back there after ny recent experience.
I do not recommend unless you want to get sick.

I liked the variety of all vegetarian buffet menu. However the price is quite high on weekends plus too much gratuity.
