The self service to avoid tipping was great! And we still had excellent service from the kitchen staff despite them not getting tips.
The lady who served us our food was so welcoming and kind.
Plenty of parking in the lot (though it could get crowded).
Plenty of seating inside.
We ordered the milk tea as our free hot drink and it was so good!
We also ordered the fried chicken (perfectly crispy and good), the thousand year old congee (very tasty and goes well with the fried bread/yotel), and shrimp wonton (the egg noodles worked well and the shrimp was good).
I love that you can pick your side dishes (the salted peanuts were so good and the fried shallots) yourself at the back counter.
Overall, it was delicious food and a great experience!
We ordered fish ball noodles, wonton soup, and baked rice. The portions were generous, and we were super full. The place is very kid-friendly, and we noticed they have many combo sets. We decided to come back and try them all. It seems like congee is their specialty since almost every table ordered it.
We also got a Hong Kong-style “Yuen Yeung” to-go. It was delicious and great value for the price!

I opted for the baked Bolognese spaghetti with cheese paired with a serving of baked pork chop over spaghetti. While the Bolognese spaghetti met my expectations, the baked pork chop fell short. Despite its mediocre taste, it was drowned in sauce, almost resembling a soup, and even spilled over the to-go bag. The Hong Kong style milk tea didn’t fare any better; its intense bitterness hinted at overboiled and excessively steeped black tea. Both the hot and iced versions were down right undrinkable, very disappointing. Adding insult to injury, the prices were relatively high, especially considering that adding a cold drink pushed the total to well over $17 per item. Even though it was a soft opening, the traffic was slow. The quality of food, which reflects their preparation methods, was not up to par. Perhaps I’ll explore their Chinese dishes on my next visit, hoping for a more satisfying experience.
We also tried their fried chicken wings, and they were amazing – super crispy skin and juicy meat. It was an accidental but awesome find. Highly recommend checking it out!
I looked it up and found out that they actually have three branches in Los Angeles. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Hong Kong cuisine!
The wonton lo mein is very disappointing. There is no seasoning or sauce in the lo mein , it’s just plain noodle with wonton. The wonton itself is very good. The lo mein is supposed to have the Chinese broccoli in it, but we got A Choy instead, which does not go well with the lo mein.
The beef stew soup noodle is great. The soup is tasty and the beef is tender.
